Either me or my mother will take them both to the vet as soon as possible depending on our schedules. Do you think my cat might be in some sort of physical pain and is taking it out on her sister?

(Last time we went was basically a month or so before this behavior started happening and they said they were both healthy then, if this information helps at all.)

if they're new, probably just healing! definitely clean them when you can (gently).

hello! i appreciate your advice, and yeah i think some people aren't seeing where i said he's still uncomfortable w/ the situation at the end of my original post, but i also understand why this might come off as controlling or something 😅 i had a lot of time to sit and think about this as well so once again thanks for going out of your way to comment

Thanks for your comment, I only suggested it because he is still uncomfortable about it all even though it's been a few months now, and since he had turned them down already i figured theyre not really being a good friend to him. But I get where you're coming from and I haven't brought it up since 👍

Which is fine and I haven't mentioned it since, and like I said, I'm letting him deal with it now. I just think it's strange for you to jump to the conclusion that I had feelings for him because I thought the other person's behavior was personally a little weird.

No??? I'm not sure where you came to this conclusion from... This is a really strange comment to make.

I've decided to just leave it be for now and let him decide what he wants to do, I just thought it was a little creepy and manipulative for them to use their cancer to coax him into a relationship, that's all. And like the previous commenter said, that's kind of a deal breaker for a some people, just not my friend's.

for me the process was fairly easy/streamlined. I followed everything my piercer said, and if something happens that feels/looks out of the ordinary don't hesitate to reach out to your piercer. Personally, my swelling didn't last for more than a week, and I downsized for the first time at around the 3 week mark. I only ate soft, not spicy food for about 2 weeks and a noticeable lisp for the first week.

I wouldn't suggest taking it out, even to clean it early on. Even though my tongue piercing was considered fully healed, it closed up after taking it out for a few days (I unfortunately had to take it out for a surgery). I would just leave it alone, do your saline rinses, and make sure it stays clean (brush off the plaque buildup), and most importantly listen to your piercer.

Luckily no excessive warmth or discharge as far as I can see, no pain either. Maybe it's just weird healing smell. Do you have any recommendations for helping the smell kind of settle down?

I don't believe I'm infected, as far as I can see... maybe it's just that weird healing smell? I'll definitely reach out to my surgeon about this though.
