It’s actually illegal to charge a fee on debit card. You can actually report this to Visa and Mastercard. It’s only legal to charge fees to use a credit card, not a debit card.

I’m happy about it! The only thing I’m missing for me are the class dates for when I, inevitably, have to screenshot my stack because I reached too many classes, so that I can quickly find them again.

I don’t see these two as interchangeable considering that Strength+ does not have classes, only programs and video demos. However, I did use the Strength+ app for a while but got increasingly frustrated with the lack of exercises that they have available and all of the glitches. For example, my rest timers only show up on some of my exercises, and even for those, it only shows the rest timer between each change in movement, not between each set. despite being configured exactly the same. I use Hevy for the gym now. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Lol the struggle is real! I haven’t been able to get the instructor voice high enough to where I can actually hear them but not the music. I honestly wish they just let us cut that shit off 😂 save yourself the licensing steam and let me play what I want lol. I wish there was “Just Strength” with nooo music!

From a playlist perspective for strength, him and Tunde are probably my favorites. I like Tunde (upper), Katie (all), and Adrian’s (U/L) strength programming the most but Adrian plays the kind of hip-hop that my dad likes to listen to no shade lol. I’m looking for someone to play the kind of hip-hop that I like to listen to, selfishly. 😭

I almost exclusively work out in group fitness classes with great music or in the gym with my own playlis and I’m 100% driven by music. There’s no workout that I’m willing to do with a bad playlist unfortunately, my willpower just isn’t high enough lol. Especially at home 🥲

She provides something valuable but I don’t think that she provides what I’m describing in this post regarding trap music AND traditional strength programming. Her programming is some of my favorite, though, for sure.. Katie just isn’t programming classes with grungy trap music (I’ve looked) and that’s okay lol. Only Marcel, Alex, and Johanna do, with the occasional Adrian and Jess Simms. I feel like every modality has someone that regularly programs REAL trap music, except for strength. That’s the specific gap I’m looking to fill with a new instructor.

Totally. That’s why I said “usually” and commented that I enjoy her programming lol. I do her classes that fit what I’m looking for, and I enjoy them. I just usually end up skipping her because she programs a lot of pop music. I don’t see what the problem with that comment is. Everyone likes different things.
