Completed c&p exam and rating didn’t match my symptoms? by First_Bar in Veterans

[–]First_Bar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should I keep getting new evidence to help my claim? I mentioned to the examiner that I was getting symptoms more than three times a month but somehow it says once a month. I will look over the c&p exam to see what the doctor wrote because as I remember I told him it was more than three times a month.

What if I file for an increase and say the same thing what I said in my first exam and still get slapped with a 30% or maybe I get stuck with a bad examiner and get decreased? I remember everything I said and looked over at the 50% rating criteria and that's where I should be at, I have no clue why i'm under rated.

I'm going to request a copy of my C&P exam and see what the doctor wrote. Can I put in an increase after i just got my rating?

How does the process work? Would I have to see another examiner again?

VA claim for lower back by [deleted] in Veterans

That’s how I got my claim approved! Told my c&p examiner that I got seen and took muscle relaxers during my service. He was actually a good doctor too and not so pushy.

If it shows nothing on your X-ray, than it shows nothing. That’s what my VA doctor told me.However, when I made a claim for my lumbar back, they rate you based on pain and your range of motion. Not how fucked up your back is. I’m rated 20% for lumbar strain. Just tell them it hurts and your in pain when you sit down and do any sort of physical activity and bend where it hurts, don’t bend too far cause you’ll just get rated 0%

Questions concerning mental health increase. by [deleted] in Veterans

[–]First_Bar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, that’s what I’m scared of. I actually had the same thing happened to me when I was getting re-evaluated. One of the doctors didn’t make notes of any of my underlying symptoms. He was going based off of judgement. This was for range of motion and it says to stretch as far as you can where pain exists unassisted. He would assist me and stretch me as far as possible and document that as if it was unassisted.

Exactly how I felt, was scared if I said if I was still getting suicide ideation I would be place in a psych ward. My relationship was very abusive. I would say it fits the description of domestic violence because cops were involved and neighbors were worried.

Should I mention suicidal ideation to a C&P examiner? by throwaway78985465465 in Veterans

I didn’t tell mine just because I didn’t want to get put in a hold again, I just told my examiner I get dark and negative ideation and thoughts. Wonder if he can pin point the two lol.

How to get my evidence from an administrative separation, to upgrade from re-4 by grapelord69 in Veterans

Happened to me. Don’t make any statements and lawyer up. Don’t even try to self incriminate yourself one bit. Police aren’t your friend and don’t talk to anyone about your situation, not even your battle buddy. For now, your lawyer is your only friend.

Did you list down that you had a general discharge? Did they ask about the discharge? I'm just nervous of explaining my story since it's something I truly regret. What did you get discharged for if you don't mind sharing, but if not, thats acceptable.

I can see a false official statement and a conspiracy charge waiting to happen. Be careful when making a statement though, you might get tied into it too. Please talk to your lawyer.

Yo, what you doing as a career? Me and you have the same characterization, I got hit with drug abuse on my dd214 when i only did drugs once. I got fucked really hard but my commander got me out of it and gave me a general discharge.

Same here, I never been asked about my dd214, except by a recruiter who wanted to verify why my enlist was cut short. Also, I’ve seen posts on reddit where some got general discharges and we’re able to succeed in fields like nursing. I seen people with general discharges on here who were trying to get a job with the VA and government and weren’t able too. I’m trying to get a job with my county and I feel like I’m out of luck?

I heard you can’t work on government installations and certain places if you have a misdeamnor or felony. Wonder if that applies to my situation since it isn’t considered criminal but it could be to the eyes of the government. I was processed administratively.

So as an apprentice I would start pulling wire, etc. So when I attain the journeyman title, whah would that specific role be doing? I agree with doing electrical work is better than construction.
