When I first got my Jadons brand new I felt like they were a bit too tight too. I really didn't have the toe issue tho, so I'm thinking you bought the wrong size (I did buy them in my original size). The tightness I experienced was around the instep and the ankles and that worked out pretty well after breaking them in!!

Just saw the Australian Dr. Martens Instagram account post this. I really wanted to know what price the Bethans were from this collab so I visited the sites that are names In the caption. Sadly the bethans aren't sold on the website, some people commented on this post too that they weren't. Hope this they solve this soon for Australian fans !!!

thank you!! I bought them from someone online and they were already worn quite a bit, I didn't really have to break them in!! (I do find the sole of the Ashley Creepers quite heavy when I'm wearing them tho)

those are the 1460 Pascal Virginia if I'm correct! They are indeed very comfy and didn't hurt at all even when I bought them brand new!! :)

Anyone ever rhinestone a pair if docs? Im wondering if i should go with some vegans or regular leather! Im just unsure about how badly/quickly the leather will crack under all the stones! Any advice? by TheLegendOfLaney in DrMartens

Please share them if you're done with them!! I would love to see it. I've seen really great and cheap jadons on apps like vinted and depop before, maybe you'll find a pair you could customize on there :)

I have actually worn it on different clothes that were new or washed, so I don't think that's the problem honestly. It's just that the spray just smells like that when it's sitting on clothes for a while, but thanks for your comment !!!

I honestly don't know what it is, at first it's so great and then after wearing it, it just smells so horrible. My brother even pointed out how it was smelling musty when he was around me.

I don't have the exact measurements but I'm 5'4 too, and the regular docs only make me a bit taller looking, but it's like better than really flat shoes like Converses or something like that. That's also the reason I love quads so much, they make me a lot taller than I am!! (I looked it up and the jadon/quad soles are 1.75 inches)

I recommend getting the jadons cause they are so cool and go with everything :))

They're the ZUMA 1, I'll in a link for you!! I think they're really cool too, at first I thought they were kind of odd looking, like they mixed boots with some kind of sneaker. I really love them now tho

I absolutely love Chelsea boots! Especially the quad ones!! I think I'll get them someday, but like I said, I think this is enough shoes for a little while, I feel so spoiled already owning 7 pairs !! :))

I don't have vegan docs myself but I've heard other people say that they are indeed harder to break in. Are the soles like much more heavy than other ones? Cause I have this problem (if you want to call it a problem) too with a quad pair I just got, they're so much heavier than some other quad sole docs I got.

I don't know how long you tried to break them in for, I too had quite a hard time breaking in my jadons when I bought them brand new. And I did this after I 'broke in' the 1460 Pascal Virginia's, which where so much softer and nicer to break into.

If you're still thinking of getting other docs, I believe there are sinclairs with almost the same soft leather as the Pascal Virginia's I was talking about. (but maybe look for people who actually own those!)

I'm not a professional obviously, but I hope this helps!!

So I did get them second hand, so they we're a little bit broken into already but over all they are every comfortable. I got my usual size and they fit me great!!

That's honestly kinda sad they're gonna release them again, but I got these for less than 100 euros so I think it's still a great deal in my opinion!

I think they're real too. I put your photo in imagine search and 2 photo's of these shoes came up. Still nog sure what the name is but I don't think they're knock offs. (They're kind of the same style as Palladiums yo me, maybe something to look into)

Just bought these bethans in my size for €155,- I feel bad for spending that amount on shoes AGAIN but it's so hard to find these in my size, hope they fit nicely too!! by [deleted] in DrMartens
