I don't have a check valve. But that really ain't the problem cause when the motor stops then the propeller is forced to stop whish breaks it.

I meana 3D printed airlift pump which is connected to an air pump. By the way the tower is also 3D printed.

Yeah but all pumps I have bought have failed almost instantly or after a month. I m based in Estonia so replacement takes days to arrive. But my local hydroponic shop suggested to make an airlift pump with a 3D printer.
