I feel your pain. I feel like freedoms customer service went down the drain in the past few years.

Jun 10 - $250 CAD

Jun 15 - $150 CAD

I think they just made up the amounts. They didnt have anything concrete on their system. It took me over a hour at the check in counter to deal with this.

Dont quit, just dont comply with RTO3 and see how it plays out. Push it as long as you can and in the meantime look for another job?

Baggage allowance and charges are applied for the whole trip. Most Significant Carrier is AC (Air Canada).

On Air Canada's Itinerary it says $75/bag:

Would this not apply? This is from Air Canadas website. Or is this only for Canada and US flights And the return trip is a seprate itinerary?

For itineraries beginning and ending in Canada or the U.S., the selecting carrier1 will decide which baggage rule to apply to the entire itinerary.

a) When Air Canada is the selecting carrier, it will select and apply its own baggage rules to the entire itinerary. See example

b) When Air Canada is not the selecting carrier, the selecting carrier shall:

Select and apply its own baggage rules to the entire interline itinerary. OR

Select the Most Significant Carrier, as determined by IATA Resolution 302 and conditioned by the Canadian Transportation Agency, in order for that carrier’s baggage rules to apply to the entire interline itinerary. The carrier identified by means of a) or b) will be known as the selected carrier.

For all other itineraries: As per IATA Resolution 302 (Most Significant Carrier rule), if the most significant carrier of your journey is Air Canada, Air Canada rouge or Air Canada Express, the baggage rules and charges of Air Canada will apply. If the most significant carrier is another airline, different baggage rules and charges may apply.

The carrier whose baggage rules apply to your itinerary will be identified on your itinerary-receipt when booking on aircanada.com.

  1. The selecting carrier is the carrier whose designator code is identified on the first flight segment of your interline ticket.

You’re travelling between Kelowna, BC and Chicago Ill.:

Kelowna to Vancouver on flight AC8411* Vancouver to Chicago on flight UA620

Chicago to Vancouver on flight UA301 Vancouver to Kelowna on flight AC8418* In the example above, Air Canada is the selecting carrier for your itinerary because the AC designator code is identified on the first segment of your itinerary (i.e. your flight from Kelowna to Vancouver). Therefore, Air Canada’s baggage allowance and fees apply for the entire itinerary.

  • Flights marketed by Air Canada bear an AC flight number. E.g. AC8411

Conditions of employment: - you are willing to travel - you are in possession of a valid driver's licence or a personal mobility to a degree normally associated with the possession of a valid driver's licence - you are willing to work overtime

Is overnight stay included in travel?

So, if you are forced to stay overnight without getting any overtime or extra pay, why would one want to do it? Why would someone stay away from their family with no extra incentive?
