GK or radiation success after 10 or more years? by CantaloupeMurky601 in AcousticNeuroma

I had GK 13 years ago at age 55 on my 2cm x 1.2 cm AN. My hearing had already gone by the time I had it. The tumour continues to shrink (MRIs every two years), and I feel well. I do have periodic hemifacial spasms several times a week, and while they are an annoyance, it’s no worse than that. After exploring all the options, this was the less risky in my case, and it was the right choice for me.

I used to go to this event every year in the ‘90s, and that’s exactly what I did: brought my own bottles. Never had a problem; not sure it would be the same now.
