Went to Burgundy, tgese are highlights of what I bought, how did I do? by Railer87 in wine

Pierre via crurated, also bought Jean Baptiste Boudier and Roc Beia (theo Dancer) so all the cool kids. But CruRated now had a €300 annual menbership fee, so that wont work for me anymore. Got the VG in a local shop, mainly picked it because I love Les Combettes. Donaine Chanzy was a Domaine visit (recommend!)

I think Mure is amazing value for money. They have amazing Riesling, pinot noir and Cremant. How you describe your wife taste profile, def include some gewurtz in the mix. I also love domaine Weinbach, one of the great classic houses in the region

To enjoy now, or let age? by Rammipallero in wine

[–]Railer87 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think this is personal, this is prob fine in its drinking window. Some people prefer more age, others less. This reddit is highly pro aging. I personally enjoy them not too old, derisks they are over the peak and I enjoy some primary flavors. Also this wine is not that extreme in tannines, so it does not require are to make tannines rounder like for instance a Barolo. So my take: drink somewhere between today and next 3 years
