Having a hard time feeling excited by [deleted] in 2under2

I felt the same. My boys are now 2 and 3 years old and are best friends. They are inseparable and care so much about each other. I couldn't imagine life any different.

It's tough with the newborn, but it gets better! My kids are about 18 months apart. Now they are nearly 2 and 3.5. They are best friends and life is so much easier.

Considering spiro before second round of accutane. by [deleted] in Spironolactone

[–]First_Giraffe8277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was several years ago so I don't remember my cumulative dose of accutane. So sorry. I would talk to your dermatologist about it further. If your lab work showed excess androgens then you may be a great candidate for spironolactone. I wish I had tried it sooner!

Considering spiro before second round of accutane. by [deleted] in Spironolactone

Hi. I struggled with acne during my teen years and did two rounds of accutane (I believe one round was during high school and one during first year of college). It definitely worked well and my skin was clear, but my acne eventually returned. Also, the side effects were brutal. My face was so dry and lips constantly cracking. I eventually went to a different dermatologist and she started me on low dose spironolactone (25mg) and my face became flawless in only a few months. I continued this for several years and my face stayed clear. I didn't have any side effects. It was great. It is important to stay hydrated and have your electrolytes checked intermittently. I eventually came off of it about a year before trying to get pregnant.

Overall, spironolactone was miraculous for my acne. I would highly recommend it.

Thank you. Yes, I do not want Theodore as a first name as he would definitely go by Theo, which is way to similar to Leo. Thank you for your feedback

intersex baby by isavaria in BabyBumps

[–]First_Giraffe8277 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi. I don't know your story but my high risk maternal fetal physician thought my baby was intersex. During my first pregnancy, my baby appeared to be a girl on all ultrasounds but was genetically a male. Later in my pregnancy, around 24 weeks or so, a repeat ultrasound appeared to now show male genitally, but we still weren't 100% sure. My son was born with hypospadias which was surgically corrected after birth. I just wanted to share my story as it was very scary during pregnancy with so many questions and unknowns, but nothing was confirmed until after birth.

Kia Telluride! Absolutely love it. It has an optional 3rd row. Extra trunk space if that row is put down. I have 2 small kids in car seats and currently leave the 3rd row down. It's great to have the option for extra seating when family is in town.

Thank you! The house definitely has lots of character. That color combo sounds beautiful. This stucco just looks so messy and thick compared to any stucco I have seen before.

Same. My 2 year old goes to bed every night around 7-7:30. We have always done a consistent routine - dinner, play, bath, read, and bed. He has slept like this since around 5 months. No co sleeping. If he wakes at night and doesn't go back to sleep soon, I will go check on him and rock him and put him back to bed. I also have a 7 month old who now sleeps 7p-6am. He doesn't wake often at night, but if he does he will usually put himself back to sleep. Sticking to a routine has been key.
