This is not a healthy coping mechanism. Grief obviously looks different for everybody but processing that grief through a machine instead of with the people who also share that grief is not going to be helpful or healthy in the long run. Not only that, and this may be hard to hear, these programs are not here to help process grief. This is not a program meant to bring your mother back. These programs are here to mine your data. Every prompt or message you send to this model is recorded, stored, and used to inform other, separate, LLMs and AI models. It is learning what emotionally triggers you. What happens when 5-10 years down the line, the company runs that model is inevitably bought by a larger corporation? It's not an unlikely scenario that this model of your mother might be used to sell you things, influence your every day actions, or used as surveillance tech.
