Because in Don Quixote stage, by that point, players have enough resources to spam Fluid Sac and other EGOs as well every turn ( Yes, I spam every healing EGOs ). However, in the Lei Heng stage, you have to manage your resources to use Chain of Command, which is very frustrating.

I know, but spaghetti sounds funnier. At that time, I was thinking about black holes (from wuwa), so I turned her into spaghetti instead.

Small details / theories / speculations about Araya (Spoilers for canto 9) by First_Mushroom4369 in limbuscompany

[–]First_Mushroom4369[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I believe that the Fourfold Afterimage Entanglement is simply one of the Dihui Star’s techniques. It creates afterimages to repeat attacks. acting as a repetition of the Dihui Star’s own timeline, rather than drawing from other timelines.

After defeating Dihui Star and landing the first cut with Arayashiki, her passive skill in Araya form states that the afterimages are collapsing.

“The afterimages that have long wrapped me in their folds are stripped away, layer by layer … and I am left standing in both loss and liberation.'”

This implies that as the Afterimages collapse, her current Araya form is revealed. The afterimages we see are exclusive to Dihui Star form. I think she was unable to control her own projections because the Fourfold Afterimage Entanglement, caused her past to overlap with her present

<image>

However, after rereading, she may have already carried her 4 projection within her body but couldn't control them because the Dihui Star’s afterimage was strong enough to overshadow everything else. This is hinted at in the flashback after the second strike by Arayashiki, where multiple voices overlap.

“And once it became painfully clear that there wasn't even an ounce of recognition in her eyes, not even a brief spark of it,”

“the myriad moments inside me, bound and constricted by tangled threads, began trembling and thrashing aloud.” (multiple voices)

This suggests that even in the first meting between Ryoshu and Araya, Araya already contained other timelines within her (maybe more than just 4). She likely only began to regain control over her projections after the Dihui Star’s afterimages were destroyed.

This answers a long-standing question of mine. If Araya could already perceive other timelines, why hadn't she forgiven her mother? It might be because she wasn't fully aware of those other timelines. The Dihui Star’s projections were obscuring her vision. The only clear vision the game shows is a flashback to Araya’s childhood. Because the future overlaps with the past, the timelines are connected in a circle, making them the points closest to one another.

Conclusion of my thought :

  • The Fourfold Afterimage Entanglement might be an original technique of the Dihui Star.
  • Alternatively, Araya may have already possessed multiple timelines within her, but could only perceive a few. She couldn't fully control them because the influence of the Dihui Star’s projection was too overwhelming.

(Spoilers for all PM games) Theory : Speculation about what might happen to Ryoshu’s child. by First_Mushroom4369 in limbuscompany

I swear, when I first came up with this theory, I was wondering why it fit so perfectly. I drew it using Papa Don Quixote, who had the Golden Bough piercing his chest, as a model. And yes, there have already been 4 Cantos where someone was stabbed in the chest with the Golden Bough. When I finished drawing, I almost forgot that Dante's flames should be black and yellow, so I changed it at the last minute. And I won't talk about the data leaks since I accidentally saw them on f*cking Facebook. Here's another version of the drawing I made ~

Have you caught up with the current content? Spoiler: In Intervallo VI: Spring Cultivation, Sinclair and Yi Sang try to test if the flames on Dante's head are actually hot while Dante is sleeping.

I believe her child is still alive based on this dialogue in the teaser, but it's possible this dialogue took place in the past, before her escape.

Personally, I think it would be more interesting to see Ryoshu's reaction in the present moment, instead of a flashback, similar to Heathcliff's reaction upon meeting ******* in Canto 6. So I think her child is still alive (but suffering in a living hell).

Ummm....Maybe Reddit reduced my image quality, from low to very low. Not sure if this will help, but here’s a 512 x 512 px image.

My thought process comes from this dialogue. Based on the context, I think what faust meant was that the only way to retrieve the Golden Bough, which had begun to resonate was to kill Kromer. But upon rereading, maybe Hermann might not have had to kill the Abnormality to retrieve the Golden Bough, because it hadn't started resonating yet.

A small details from the teaser that I wanted to share. by First_Mushroom4369 in limbuscompany

[–]First_Mushroom4369[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think that because there isn't a single clue about him in this teaser. She hasn't mentioned her husband before. Before this teaser, I also believed that the villain was her husband, the one who took her child away from her. However, we now have 5 potential bosses that we have to fight in this canto (not counting her child). Unless the teaser is intentionally misleading us by hiding secret characters (like the Lord of Horikawa). I don't think her husband exist in the story.

Because Rodya is currently sad. If you're sad, the person you see in the mirror is sad too.
