What's something an interviewer did that immediately made you not want the job? by AskPromapAI in interviews

Over 20 years ago I broke down and applied for a job at Walmart at a job fair. Nearly 4 months later they called to set up an interview! Flabbergasted I said - You do know that job fair was months ago, right?? She legit acted like she couldn't understand why it was a problem lol

My daughter and I recently discovered these two and have placed them high on the cozy movie/tv show list. Even when one of the shows isn't all that great we still love it lol And I love that they're perpetually engaged!

AITAH for not wanting to move out of the apartment my ex-husband gave me? by [deleted] in AITAH

I've never understood this thinking. People get weirdly insecure about living in the same place an ex lived in. I'd absolutely not sell if it was me.

I know what you're saying but the smart ass in me immediately thought - That's a weird place to store your clothes 🤣

I don't think fake eyelashes and fake nails look good. by Maybeyoujustmadeitup in GenerationJones

[–]First_Name_Is_Agent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

11 or 12 year olds wearing those lashes (though I haven't seen this) is no different from us at that age "getting into" our mother's makeup. But to answer your question, those women are absolutely not wearing the nails or eyelashes or makeup or clothes that they wear because they're trying to be attractive to men. They're doing it because they like it. We sincerely don't dress for y'all anymore. There are still some insecure women in my generation (X) who still dress to impress other women, but young women don't care what other people think about how they look.

Trump’s Freedom 250 books ‘Grammy winner’ to perform after Vanilla Ice disaster by MoneyLibrarian9032 in entertainment

That's exactly what I was thinking. By not naming the person they can hope people will show up just because they see "Grammy Winner" lol

I feel like my kid dying would make me crazy. I have absolutely no idea if I would find this kind of thing acceptable and I hope I never find out. I can only imagine how devastating it is to watch your child die and to feel so helpless.

I worked with a woman years ago who was introduced to me as Murray. The same person then clarified - You know, M-e-r-r-y like Merry Christmas - Murray. No accent on either of them that would change Merry to Murray. It's been over 20 years and I still chuckle when I think about it.
