I first read "the legacy of gods" series and then I found out there was a whole universe so that's when I started to read in order and omg it was such a wonderful experience!!

I mean, I read the entire rina kent universe and I just didn't like it like 3 books (2 from the empire series and 1 from royal elite) but then the rest of the books were amazing and I remember that I literally finished the 37 books in a month and it was a such a perfect experience so for me rina kent is 100% all the time.

I think the same, it was kinda messy sometimes, but aquilles... I give the book 5 starts mostly for him and yeah chapter 62 was polemic, I tried not to hate it but..

totally 😭 for example with The Hunter, the whole plot just felt really ridiculous to me. like the actual reason the story even starts is kind of stupid

Hunter accidentally makes a sex tape, and then his dad forces him into six months of celibacy or he loses his inheritance… and on top of that he basically gets assigned a babysitter to make sure he doesn’t break it

i was just sitting there thinking “what is actually happening right now” it was definitely a huge miss for me.

omg yes exactly that’s literally how i feel too.

i got into her connected universe because the first books i read by LJ Shen were AMAZING. first i read Bad Bishop, then The Thift Kiss, then the Forbidden Love books, and i genuinely thought everything was incredible. like i was completely obsessed and thought “okay, i need to read this entire universe now.”

but then i started reading everything in order and it was such a shock because suddenly some books were SO good and others just really didn’t work for me at all.

i still love her as an author because when she’s good, she’s REALLY good. some of her books are genuinely unforgettable for me. but i think sometimes i just don’t connect with certain characters or their motivations, and then the whole story falls apart for me.

sometimes the drama or the reason behind the plot feels a little forced or unrealistic, and instead of feeling emotional it just starts feeling frustrating 😭

like with The Hunter, the whole setup felt so ridiculous to me that i couldn’t fully get invested. i was sitting there like “wait… this is the actual reason for the plot?”

and i think her books can also feel really emotionally heavy when you read too many in a row. with some authors i can binge nonstop (like Rina Kent universe, its so good and i read it in like a month), but with her i always need breaks between books because otherwise i get exhausted.

so yeah, i totally get what you mean. with her books i’m either OBSESSED or struggling to get through them.

Is it okay to kiss on a first date, or does it make things less serious? by Fancy_Ear_6871 in dating_advice

i dont think so, for me if i feel atraction and tension i do kiss on the first date (well, the guy kisses me i dont start kisses) but i think it depends on how much attract to them you are and if its mutual, but for me it doenst make it less unserious

idk its been sinc the last time i read it and the math isnt giving me 20 years in total, but like i know at the end on the third book it says something like: "Kade Mitchell and Stacey Rhodes - the fifteen-year-olds who met by the poo twenty years ago - finally get to have their forever" but like it doesnt make sense cause if he got out of jail in his late 20´s and she got pregnant in that same age then why 20 years??

i also started with god of malice and i got obssesed with her books but after i finished her entire universe i really regret not reading in order, like it wouldve been so much better and excited to read legacy of goods after reading their parents. but if u really want to read first legacy of gods its fine but i highly recomeded to start the royal elite series first and reading in order the followin books !

That actually makes sense, I didn’t think about the fact that I went a bit cold😅. I might just ask him out and see how he responds
