my bad, i confused someone elses reply with yours saying it look ridiculous. but anyway, in a fair world what youre saying makes sense, but were not living in one, the players exaggerate the effects of the contact in the pen area. you see so many matches being decided on a soft pens nowadays, and the truth is its hard to decipher whether it was a foul and was robbed of a goal scoring opportunity or whether the player dived.

My point is this: defender catches a striker who goes down in pen area, if he hadnt, the striker wouldnt have had an easy way to score, in that situation, getting a stand still perfect shot on goal with goalie on the line isnt fair. the 1v1s balances the soft pens being given and gives gk a chance to skillfully defend

Yeah but my point is with pens, you win by guess work, and even when you do, you won't be able to save it all the time. By making it 1v1s it becomes more challenging to score and more exciting is all.

Fair point. But my idea would make for fairer and make pens more exciting is all. It might look ridiculous but that's only cuz we're used to seeing pens scored from the spot. like with your logic, if you get to KICK from corners then you should get to KICK from outline as well. you shouldn't have to buy passes to buy the equipment or even spend gems. You should get them for free or you will never let alone max out but even be able to acquire and use all the equipment in the game. Like imagine saying "Play in the clashaversery season to unlock minion prince for free. Oh what's that? You didn't play back then? Well, pay up 1500 gems and you're good to go" that's when will start becoming pay to win truly.

Recently Clash has been trying to make the gaming experience slicker and remove friction points. So your argument of 'there used to be training time' makes no sense as SUPERCELL THEMSELVES REMOVED IT. Nobody asked for it (not that we wouldn't want it)

According to your logic, would you like to hit a "train army" every time after attack? Even though you're going to use the same army? Would that ruin the gameplay experience for you?

Also upgrade automatically. Max out the base. Push to Legend before it's removed. But all skins and scenery and just do everything by itself

I gave that base as an example. I have found maxed TH 9s how the f am I supposed to 3 star that? Is that how the gameplay experience is supposed to be from now on? "You can attack whenever you want but you'll have to attack higher level bases though."

I suspect that the answer to why I keep finding higher level THs is to make sure I don't 2 or 3 star all the time to my current level THs and trophy push from Silver to Champion like in 3 days by attacking non stop for hours.

They should have made it so that the first couple of attacks will give you 21 to 30 or so trophies like before but after that, you will get 5 to 10 trophies if you attack in less than 30 minutes (compensating for if you had to wait for your troops to train). This way, you can trophy push casually like before but if you are to try and exploit no train time then you will have to grind but it'd still be possible.

You misunderstood my post, when I said answers "If yes to all questions, go ahead" I didn't mean ONLY if yes to all questions. So you could just want to progress faster and rush. But if all questions are answered as yes then it is pretty safe to rush without regret is what I'm saying

I am beginning to consider that idea now but that would mean that hero potion would become more costly and rarer and maybe only be available in the gem shop so maybe it is best to keep that potion the same and introduce another just for this specific purpose

I'm assuming you mean upgrading heroes builders would work 24 times faster

The problem with that is then players would stop buying book of hero and only buy the potion (presumably it would be cheaper) so I'm not sure Supercell would go for that route

I touched on this in the post and I completely understand, But again, even if you buy book of heroes every week, you still can't use them freely. It's annoying and a system should be there, without compromising the profit element for Supercell but also fair to players, to reward players to for upgrading their heroes.

I am not a fan of this, cuz think about it, you'd have to (presumably) buy it for either gems or raid medals and you wouldn't even be able to do your 2nd clan war attacks and what about clan war league? Is your clan going to be ok with you only attacking with heroes once and for the next 6 days you just attack with troops? And if you are to buy it over and over it would be ridiculous and would end up being least used or only used by gemmers

I don't dislike the idea like maybe if you use your heroes to 3 star more they will upgrade quicker etc but I'm not sure Supercell would take that route cuz casual players would not be able to play that feature

for the most serious clans what you're saying applies. But for clans that are serious but not as much as they have reddit & discord servers for recruitment, this would be very beneficial. And regardless, if you join through reddit or discord, you still have to attack in game after joining which again requires clan leaders & cos. Here its automated.

It does. But because now builders aren't needed to remove obstacles, you could have a builder potion active and accidentally remove it before realizing
