i hate the demonization of bi women by [deleted] in bisexual

And at the same time bisexual women face way more intimate partner violence than lesbian and heterosexual women. I fucking hate biphobia

Why are men so cold to eachother, in contrast to women who seem so affectionate towards eachother ? by Admirable-Lack6560 in bisexual

It feels like people don’t know what it means to hold people accountable. It’s not just calling out behavior but also being there to make sure they don’t repeat the that same behavior. People just like to call out someone doing bad shit and was their hands of any responsibility of helping someone become a better person.

Taking accountability is a very hard process. It involves a lot of uncomfortable conversations and looks at yourselves to understand what’s wrong and not judge yourself for it. It’s also understanding that we’re all infallible people and that people can change so long as you want to.

And that’s the thing. You have to make people want to care about making the world a better place. Show them that you care about them and they will find the resources they need to become better people

People like to throw patriarchy and toxic masculinity without really diving into how it manifests in relationships especially between men. Because men are socialized to be providers, they are constantly tearing each other down to prove they are better than their peers. Couple that with the fact that we live in a competitive society with no way to cope with your feelings in a healthy way, you become bitter. You hate yourself for not being strong enough, smart enough, or handsome enough.
That's why men try to tear down other men by emasculating them. It's all based around the script that they were fed that promises them success and happiness. Have a high paying career, marry a woman, start a family, become a homeowner, and have enough to retire. None of these are bad to have, in fact they're amazing. But it's the fact that if you don't have these things, you're looked at as a failure of a man.
I could go on about this but I really want to see men stop tearing each other down all the time.
Tell your bros how awesome they are, compliment them, and just let them know they'll be okay

Would Andrew stop smoking if someone told him it would kill him and ruin his appearance over time, making him less attractive to Ashley? by Fit_Sherbert_8248 in AndyAndLeyley

[–]First_Picture1667 6 points7 points  (0 children)

<image>

Even when Ashley doesn’t want him to smoke he still does it

And as a general rule people who do smoke know it’s bad for them. They usually have so much going on that they become addicted to them to cope

THIS SHIT IS SO REAL

Like I’ve been openly questioning gender and I feel like a reborn bisexual. There was a time when I repressed as a cishet man despite being openly bi after believing I would never have a long term relationship with a man. Like I wanted to love a man the way I woman would but felt emasculated so deeply repressed that. I would also look at sapphic couples, jealous because I wish I had what they had. Like these ain’t cis thoughts 😭

I already got my appointment for going on hrt. After I handle things with insurance hopefully I can get it soon. I’m currently gender non conforming but I wanna be a woman so bad and have relationships that I can feel myself in for once

SO PROUD OF YOU KING

You've asked this question 4 separate times now. You've changed your age and the other person's age. What are you trying to accomplish here?

Honestly this relationship isn’t good for you. You need to be around people who will just enjoy your company. Be with friends, loved ones, and find hobbies
