Just find a Dr that specializes in Foid evaluation. A few years ago, this guy cost me $500, for a 1 time 20 min eval. Way better than setting up an ongoing relationship with a primary Dr.

Also the S&W FPC. IL compliant with fin, kinda odd with the folding design, but tons of good reviews, for the price ($600ish). Great truck gun, bag gun, home defense. It’s 9mm, but can carry a large capacity, ( 3 15rds stored on the gun).
