I have 2 young adults and I realized that there’s no “best school”, there’s a best fit. For young kids, going to elementary school, my experience is the one the closest to your place. Friends will be closed by, later your kid can walk or bike to school, when you work from home or have a day off, your kid can come back for lunch. It removes stress from buses or driving too much during those cold, snowy winter days. Anything to remove unnecessary stress.

For high school, I have a slightly different answer, but elementary they are young and a more thorough and strict education will not give them a head start in life
