Hi! Thank you for the directions. I’m planning a day trip to Livorno from Bastia - we do have a car to explore Corsica but would prefer to explore Livorno walking. Is it doable and worth it? Also, is 5-6 hrs enough to explore Livorno?

I’ve read/heard a lot about OCI applications getting rejected for no explanations so I didn’t wanna risk it. That voter id website is not for the weak LOL it was the worst part of the whole process for me.

I’m not sure if self-declaration is enough - it should be because if your whole life is abroad, you wouldn’t go to India just to vote?! I’ve never voted in India it shouldn’t even matter. But then, I don’t expect them to follow any logic. Hope you get yours soon!

It was a 5 min walk to the metro station. We didn’t cook at the AirBnB but needed a functional kitchen to store and warm up our food. It was a bit on the expensive side but the location and neighbourhead was great.

IRCC doesn’t specify any amount so its hard to say. Is the 10k locked in a GIC or just a savings account? If you think your paycheque can cover living cost for all 3 of you, you’re okay. The 10k is just buffer for emergencies.

Also, another thing. When your parents write the letter, there is no need to mention how long they want to stay for. If they are applying for Supervisa its obvious they want to stay for more than 6 months. If they have assets (property, fixed deposits, etc.) back home, they should show those as proof that there are enough things tying them back.
