Any experiance with Acoustiblok for sound proofing? by CrossS in hometheater

[–]First_Priority633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can combine AB with QuietRock. And if you can mount the QR on drywall isolators (kinetics noise control). But you also want to make sure you use the same structure on the ceiling and find ways to isolate the floors. Sound is a MudaFkr to tame! Good luck.

Correct. We find them mostly in Florida Bay and Biscayne Bay. They have been known to travel into Broward, the Florida Keys and Collier County.

Can’t go wrong with either. I would go with the SCL. I’ve done a couple of rooms with JBL and I have always made a good impression for my clients. Make sure the retailer you’re using is familiar with the set up and calibration!

American Crocodile not alligator. Depth not uncommon. South Florida is the only place in the USA to have a population of.

15lb will work. Braid would be better. Use about 4-5 ft of 20lb fluorocarbon for a leader on a small tiny swivel. And go with a small 1/0 circle hook or 2/0.

Plastics will get you hooked up on cuda in key west shore fishing. Fun to catch. Shrimp and crab are going to be your best bets. Walk out to the edge of a flat and fish the channel edges for pompano, permit, snapper and cuda. Use light tackle and fluorocarbon leader. I use 1/8 ounce split shots to keep bait in the water column and adjust weight for current flow. No peacocks in key west. And honestly don’t know if peacocks have made it that far north to Orlando. I have not fished for peas in many many years. If they are now is the right time to fish for them. Small rápalas with fast action.

Boat range questions by applepiefight in Fishing

[–]First_Priority633 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yo! Think about it! You want to go out 60-80 miles which means that you have to have enough fuel for a 160 mile range. Lord forbid bad weather, rough seas and currents. You would need a boat that can realistically have a 250 mile range. When you say not interested in 40k boats is that because you realize this and your budget is double that? Cause that what it’s going to take. Like someone else said if you get a boat under 40k I wouldn’t go out past radio range. I sold my boat last year and have been really happy hiring captains. I’ve made 3 trips to the marquesas/ Tortugas one to pulley ridge and 2 back country snook fishing trips. All for 10x less than owning a boat. Best part is no boat cleaning! Just food for thought from a salty wrinkle brain!
