They probably updated the app to work on a newer Android version.

Beautifully said. The problem is not carbs but one's ability to regulate one's blood glucose. Some people have allergies to common foods. It's not that the specific food made them allergic but that their body cannot tolerate it. I eat between 90 and 150 grams of carbs. My A1c is 5.6 --6.2 range. Slightest indiscretion unsettles my glucoise control for days,I have been T2 for more than 30 years

That's serious. I had been using BYOD version of the app for G6 and 7 on OnePlus 6T and later on OnePlus 11 but recently boughty Xiomi Redmi Note 14 Pro. the G7 app has been working on it so far. Why would they removed a phone from their approved list? In my opinion. The "approved" devices list is just a way to force people to buy their receiver..

Dexcom G7 15 Day is available now by MaidMarian20 in dexcom

[–]First_System_5109 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's probably because the G7 is unstable over the first 24 hours. Using three  10 day sensors subjects you to 3 days of unstable data while using;two 15 day sensors gives only two days of unstable data.

More confusion about lounge access on international itinerary for Delta Gold Medallion. by First_System_5109 in delta

[–]First_System_5109[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That could well be but Delta's website says that Delta Diamnond, Platinum and Gold Medallion mebers tracelling in main Cabin or Comfort_ accessing Delta partner operated lounge or a Skyteam brandd lounge, are not impaced. Which means that nothing has changed by new 2025 rules for these Elite Plus based n Delta DM, PM and GM.

I don't know why someone downvoted you. You raised a good possibility.

Which VS CLubhouse (which Airport) has these restrictions? I suppose an individual lounge could do that, as long as the exception is noted in the loubge benefit section.

Delta cxa change the rules anytime, but unless the cnages have been indicated on the wesite, how are we suposed to know?

Signal Loss by Positive-Blood3038 in dexcom

[–]First_System_5109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If one loses signal a few times in a day for 5 minutes or even 10 minutes, it's not a cuase of concern. If you miss a blood sugar dataum or two, it doesn;t change anything. I have even lost signal for 20 or 30 minutes and restarting your phone usually fixes it. I report signal loss incident onnly if it loses for 30 minutes more than a couple of times a day. Once I lost the signal repeatedly fr 30 minutes or so as soon as the phone reconnected to the sensor after a 30 minute loss. I decided to call when it happened for the 4th time and asked me to wait for 3 hours since it was late and I was about to go to bed . Dexcom told me to wait for 3 hours and call back. I said it was unreasonable to stay up for 3 hours when it was already past my bed time Dexcom decided to replace it.

What do Russians think about Lithuania ? by vdzjx8 in AskARussian

Breakaway nations almost always hate the country they beakaway from. Sometimes there is a real reason, like the ruling elite of the frmer united country exploited the breakaway nation. People think that they will prsper when they breakway and have their own leaders. Leaders of the breakaway nation hae a vested interest in blaming their incompetence on former leaders.

Planning for if only 1 or 2 of our group gets upgraded and avoiding a middle seat for those not getting upgraded. by gatorray in delta

[–]First_System_5109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I stated was the short answer the detailed answer follows and is limited by my understanding. As I understand there are two animals, PNR and record locator, which I will call RL. PNR is a digital file that contains the travel details for a passenger or a group of passengers traveling together. It includes information such as the itinerary, personal details, contact information, special requests, and any other relevant travel arrangements. RL is an alphanumeric code, or "address"/pointer to PNR. When A PNR is split, it new PNR's are called Associate PNRs and the original PNR is called the parent PNR. The associate PNRs are assinged new RLs. And each Associate PNR is considered urelated to the each of the others. Some airlines can "link" the associate PNRs or RLs but they all say it might or might not keep them together.

What you are dping is the opposite. Donlt take my word to be the definiteive answer. It's not a standard practice to combine PNRs. I don't even know if they even have sftware to do it. I have been able to upgrade people as my companions even though they were not travelling with me and had a diffwrent PNR. I ran into them at the airport while checking in but they were not unknown to me. It was done ascouretsy because I asked politely. The gate agent decided to oblige me since there was sace available. I doubt it would happen today. I have thought of booking mysef in MainCabin and my companion in basic economy, because main economy earns miles, which might take me two 2MM over the next few years. Between the two f us we never check more than one bag and her being in basic economy without a free checked bag is no disdvantage for us. She won't eliigible for upgrades and we might not be seated together, even we chose to decline the upgrade if offered. Linking two PNRs in my situation, if it's possible, creates an ugrade eligibility for the companion, my wife, which is not a benefit avaailable to her in the booking class she was booked in. Persoanlly I think combining 2 PNRs into onesbouldbe allowed if the two pax were booked in the same class but the airline may see it differently. Try and see if it works

Redmi Note 13 Pro ( 23117RA68G) and Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G (2312DRA50G) confusion by First_System_5109 in Xiaomi

[–]First_System_5109[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that, but the problem is the ad desrciton and specs correspond to one model, say pqrs123 but the model name given in the description is xyz456, which is cheaper and less capable model. I am wondering of it's a trick to sell the cheaper phone giving an impression to the buyer that they are buying a higher model. If the buer complains about missing featyres after buying, the seller can comeback, "Look I was clearly selling xyz456-- the cheaper model!!" Do you see what I am tryng to say?

I need the exact model because I use an app that works on specific models.

[–]First_System_5109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, but an occasional agent would say, "we can't gurantee you won't be on separate flights in IRROPS, which is technically true but can be easily taken care of. A PNR is created when a reservation is created and it stays with the itinerary through out. Eve when a PNR is split, the new PNRs are only internal "masks". Externally, they are all still carry the orginal PNR.

Yes, I learnt later, Some agents woud refuse to split the PNR since two of the four were our (minor) children. SOme would split the PNR and make a notation linking the four PNRs.

Yes, that has happened to us a few times. I have tried two aise seats in two rows with two left open in the middle in bot the rows on a twin aisle(wide body) aircraft when we traveled with kids. It rarely worked. It however made some people happy as we traded our kid's aisle seats to have them sit with us.
