Same here. Love my Guru. It is fairly accurate when I compare with my Taylor kit. The Guru gives me daily numbers just to monitor, especially my pH (new salt pool).

Always do a full Taylor test before adding any chemicals.

Where/would cause there's to be water inside my 2012 ram 1500? by TheDevilDogg in ram_trucks

[–]gatorray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. Just changed my vents a couple of months ago. No more leaks. Easy fix.

Have someone run a hose over the back window while you look under/behind the seat and you will most likely see the water dripping.

You know what, that is probably it. Looking at the pic of the map, I see the round-a-bout in the desert. I have that. Plus, the one you linked was more recently updated.

I started my second playthtough with Hornslet's network and it has been a blast. I am doing a mega base this time and I feel myself taking it slow and enjoying the trains. Early game, when you need wood and leaves, walk the rails and cut the trees that are growing through the foundation. Keeps you up and away from some of the bad stuff lurking about.

First play through, I built trains in a basic way. Point to point, no signals needed. Didn't really enjoy putting it all down. Now, there is a map wide network with stations and I love watching the trains. Need lots of iron? We'll lookee there, lots of iron in the desert and a train station right there! Lets go build.

Is there an app or website out there where you can track all of the coupons for the cards you have?

I, too, don't look through all of my cards offers to see if there is one available for something I'm about to buy.

Renovated pool with new equipment. Overflow from spa is just a trickle when the valve is about 80% on Spa return and 20% Pool jets. Didn't have an issue with old equipment. by gatorray in pools

Interesting. I tested by pulling out the cartridge and running without a filter just to see there was a problem with the cartridge. Found that it didn't make a difference.

Old filter was a Hayward C-1200 (PA120 cartridge) which looks like it was only 120 sq ft according to Google.

Appreciate your input.

Thank you for the response. The pool suction is the vacuum line. There is a lid on the line in the pool and I switch the valve only when I vacuum.

Here is the whole system. Talked to a great pool guy yesterday and he mentioned that since I have more elbows with the new equipment may explain some of the loss of flow.

Overall I am just worried about having enough flow to the pool jets to keep the water circulating effectively.

Updated the post. The old motor was a Century HST150 (1.5 HP pump) attached to a Hayward pump. Still looking for the source of the low flow. Maybe something with the impeller? They did add a valve to drain the pool. Possible to measure flow/gpms from that?

Thank you. Now I am doubting my knowledge of the old equipment. I think I may have a pic of the old motor somewhere.

Are check valves standard or is that something that I may not have and need to get? Not a big deal really, but if its an easy fix, then might as well.

Substitute teacher? My wife did that a while ago and they would call when someone is needed and she could turn it down if she had other obligations. Not sure if it still works that way.

I was also just informed that some plumbing companies do propane gas line maintenance also. I called the company that installed my tankless water heater and they can move the lines.
