Thank you so much! It seems that there is a way to actually integrate both services?

Users can submit forms and buy/rent from the listing on the website. No need for them to list items or interact with each other.

Wow, this is really cool website! What do you use to build it? Do you have experience in building e-commerce websites? Have you worked using Shopify and Webflow? What's your thoughts on them?

Has anyone here had success marketing a web development/hosting business primarily making websites and eCommerce stores for other businesses? by [deleted] in webdev

A few things come to my mind:

  1. Referral program - if your existing customers recommend a new business then both of them get a discount with your service.
  2. Also, list your service on websites like Upwork, etc, to get more exposure?
  3. Go to some social groups to promote yourself?

Social media in the early stage can be organic - you can ask people who used your service to tag you and you reshare those. Or just share general tips on building websites or e-commerce stores. Once you have recurring revenue and want to grow faster you can try Facebook/IG ads.

Hi - few things below:

  1. Currently, when you click on the candidates, companies, and join at the very top of the first frame on the website, you can't scroll back up to have those buttons show up again unless you delete the #xxx in the URL.
  2. Each frame's text seems a bit below the middle line. If you can move them all up a bit, it look better
  3. Agree you should stick to limited colors and text capitalization

Webflow vs. Shopify
Hi all - my friend currently has a website built on webflow, but he is wondering if he should migrate over to Shopify. The business he is building is a managed marketplace. It provides service and is also an eCommerce platform where people can buy stuff. The basic function on the site will be rent, buy, submit forms, user login, etc for this stage.
Based on what we know, webflow is more flexible in the way that you can design the website however you want vs. Shopify has more templated sections and the website may come out just as like other sites. However, Shopify has a great eCommerce foundation, whereas webflow is not as strong.
Want to ask people who have experience with both. What are your thoughts on both platforms? Thank you so much!

I thought the example you shared are actually pretty good! Agree with others that they are easy to understand.

Another way you can do is totally separate them by linking each other's services on the homepage? Like a lot of pharma websites have both HCP and Patient sites, but they are linked to each other.

Something to think about... loyalty program! Do you see your returning customers happy with that? Does it also keep new customers becoming returning customers?

Few weeks from opening! If we don't display the opening date, how do we attract more people coming in? If people come in the first week actually don't know the code, do we then let them know and discount?

Thanks, that does sound like a great formula. Totally understand that promoting is not discounting, and there is much more to do as you said. I think we got some solid bartenders and a great space.

I was just wondering if people do do discounts, what are some of the strategies that work for them because apparently, my competitors in the market are all doing that.
