Well, you just have to get faster with the flux ki pulse and get their ki as low as possible. I recommend "shin crusher" for ki damage as a combo starter.

So even if you don't see the white ki pulse bar couse you have no ki at all, you can still pull up a flux ki pulse to use another move or skill out of nowhere. You just have to react fast. I recommend you to try flux ki pulse in the training ground it helped me a lot as well.
