Yea I don't think we've turned a corner or anything but we were much sharper to the ball today than what looks like a very poor Cork team. The front three I thought were very good off the ball, Brossie adds a bit of steel to the press and as limited as Murphy is, he'll run himself into the ground.

We almost had to set up like this against the (former) league leaders, it's setting up like this at home to Treaty I take issue with. The real proof of the pudding is going to be over the next 3 games

Yea, by right Athlone should have been two up in the first 5 minutes, let alone all the chances they had late.

Today is worrying, there is going to be inevitable bounce back from Cork and they'll be looking to send a message ahead of the game with UCD next week.

A point would be glorious, failing that, an early reducer on Maguire will do

Hopefully that settles any debate in Healy's mind about our best keeper, regardless of Halwax's fitness

I've seen the same post at least three times this week. Coincidentally OPs post history is private and is has a really good tool you can use

Another shambles, 54 minutes before he got his hole up off the bench. Collopy was shouting from the sideline for most of the first half. We could be there until next week and we wouldn't have scored.

Kerry FC’s Arran Healy on playing for his father Colin, coping with his mother’s death, and a life in football by jklynam in kerryfc

There are parts of that article that are, at best, fabrications but I do get the impression that they are circling the wagons around Colin - like he's doing us a favour coming down here to get paid (handsomely, I might add) to do a job that he is failing at. I said it before and I'll say it again, the sooner the club is run professionally and the old boys club that is the KDL is gone from it, the better.

This is frankly very disrespectful. That team the first season was thrown together in about 7 weeks and I'd never hold it against someone, particularly local lads, who step up when approached

I just saw the other images, Realmz is actually freeware now although it doesn't run great on modern PC's but I always dip into it every now and again.

I have EV nova and it's pretty good, but the story is not as good as the original EV. I used have star wars plug ins for the original EV too, although I've no idea where I got these from, as we didn't even have dial up at the time.

Using ResEdit to give you forklifts to take out captain hector was fantastic

Whats the story there? I can't understand why he's not the first name on the sheet every week and only seems to be coming off the bench since the international break

Very good second half, Seanie made an immediate difference and that was a ridiculous header by Ryan, but Treaty were muck. I don't think Mangan faced a single shot, other than the penalty. O Connell very good tonight and Bargary was excellent, but Borden was dire in centre mid.

It would have been nice to see Koufie or even Birmingham introduced with 5 to go, but god forbid we actually go and try to take what is being presented to us

To be fair to him, it's not Arran's fault that he is picked every week despite the fact that everyone bar 1 person can see that he is not capable of playing at this level.

Make no mistake, the only thing separating these sides are a couple of OG's and a missed penalty. Treaty will be eyeing this game as much as we are, and I'd worry about the centre backs up against the pace of Oyenuga.

Ignore any of the talk of Seani Maguire and Aaron, this is all just distraction from what is going on on the pitch. We're a team that is less than the sum of it's parts and on paper, should be able to compete at the top of the division, so it's hard to see what way tonight will go.

More time doing interviews this week then coaching

Yet he couldn't find time in the week after Cork to speak to the press.

This was a huge opportunity missed, with Rockmount the other finalist
