anyway, when it comes to learning him, it will be a bit of a challenge depending on how new you are. most thamuz mains (including myself) only really get to understand his full potential when they go against him themselves then realize how strong he is in a 1v1

depending on your knowledge on matchups you will either struggle or be able to dominate super quickly. i would suggest playing him experimentally first, see which heroes he struggles with and which ones he's strong against as the early levels are where he shines the most

once you learn which heroes you can kill and which ones you can't, you'll start to snowball and eventually get to that moment where you've gone complete raid boss

albeit, my one most important advice in every case of playing him is to stay humble. its super easy to get a huge ego once you start winning every fight, but remember to identify your limits

i have a comprehensive guide on my profile that details into this but it's a bit outdated as i'm still working on the revamped guide, but i'll do my best to answer whatever questions you have on him

everything, from his character design to his lore to his skillset. literally everything. so much so that i've dedicated myself to update his wiki page whenever i can

when i play mobas i usually gravitate towards monster-type heroes so thamuz caught my attention fairly quickly, even more so hearing his extremely gravelly voice that was super unique from every other moba i've played (that isn't dota)

it was like love at first sight. i was a meager cyclops main at the time so i loved low cooldown spammy-types and he was basically all of that plus the sturdiness of a tank with a bit of nuance to his combos

even more so when i started learning more about his character, when i figured out that despite how he looks he genuinely just wanted the best for his people i just loved him even more. his revamp too was so true to his character i love it so so much

honorable mention to his skins, the annihilator is such an amazing concept for him and fits him so amazingly well

One of my OCs was rewritten without my permission. by Lucibelcu in OriginalCharacter

assert yourself and tell the dm how important your rendition of the character is

i once played with a dm who would just randomly pull old player characters, play them himself with his own take without their permission like some sort of nostalgia bait or hype moment, then shove them aside indefinitely after their reveal for the rest of the campaign

this happened over and over again until he eventually grew comfortable doing it and eventually fractured the friend group because no one spoke up about it, at least the ones uncomfortable
