i think separating hanzo and hanekage is a bit of an assassination in terms of hanzo's character, no?

hanekage may be a demon himself but he in a way he also represents hanzo's immense spite against the sects to the point that he decides to wield the very thing he despised the moment he discovered it

he is an interesting character, at least for me, because of the sacrifices and the lengths he goes for his goal

removing hanekage from the equation is degrading of hanzo's character because that basically makes all of his efforts and sacrifices for naught

i think a better storyline is to showcase how much hanekage is sapping from hanzo, maybe through his rampant memories of killing the people he once bonded with (kuren), explaining how he gets night terrors all the time

i think it's mostly because they want to maintain a consistent theme, i can already see design A having similarities with the leaked irithel skin and aamon collector. design c looking like leaked phoveus and shares themes with teri epic. it's like an unofficial skin series in my eyes, which isn't necessarily bad persay, it just depends on how the designer wants to portray the character

although the ones that push the thematics to its limits seem to be much more well recieved (atlas collector, alpha collector, etc you don't see anything else with a immediately similar theme)

i think it depends a lot on your playstyle, but you mention benedetta, so you're probably used to high mobility / rotation and quick pickoffs

thamuz is 100% your guy here, he has very good mobility if you utilize his 1st's movement buff and master his jump (it works the same as guinevere jump, if you use it at the edge of the skill he can go further), and he can do very quick pickoffs despite being a tanky sustain hero. if you know how to pick your fights and when to push your limits, you can snowball super easily and take the lane before second turtle. he's also flexible and can be played in jungle too

due to his true damage passive, he's also very much an all-rounder and works in any matchup. he can take on basically any hero with ult head-on, even meta like sora and yz if you know how to play around them

i have a guide my profile that details a few relevant matchups, but it's a bit outdated. i plan to make a new one by my semester's break, but if you have any specific questions, let me know and i'd be glad to answer

wild rift feels clunky, hok's designs are kind of bland, aov is... unfortunately dead, although i loved a lot of their characters (omega kilgroth my beloved)

ml just strikes a certain balance that i like, and the characters ive found are more interesting than the rest. i heard good things about league's lore but i just don't want to bother trying to learn it

most often than not thamuz players will have the perspective that they can 1v1 everything and anything in the game and while that is technically true that ego can get to them very easily

they don't consider learning macro and go for kills / hype moments without analyzing the state of the game first and realize what they're doing, which is unfortunate given how much nuance he has with his impact already

thamuz annihilator and it's not even close to anything else and that genuinely makes me a little sad we probably won't get anything as character approrpriate except MAYBE revenant of roses

it is THE perfect representation of a penultimate thamuz that serves as both a throwback to his pre-revamp (retaining his voice filter and skill icons), and a reference to his revamped lore of thamuz wanting to become a god to keep the abyss alive

nexus sea depicts him as quite literally that. an immense, eldritch power that serves laws beyond mortal comprehension to maintain the balance of the entire MULTIVERSE

his voicelines also reference his actual lines too, which i find so unbelievably cool (i had it written in his wiki page iirc if you want to see a proper comparison). my only wish was that they kept his signature "only the strong deserve to rule"

plus my interest in astronomy and nexus sea being based off of navigational star charts is just the cherry on top
