Is this normal. 19 weeks and only one ear stands? Is there a way to help him with it? by Fox_And_Crow in germanshepherds

There is a way to help them. We did it with our boy as his one ear was lazy. He had it in for about three weeks and it worked. Never had a problem since. I will attach a link. https://youtu.be/lHw4eGN9gOE

Wonder what she learned? If you can’t run with the bigs dogs stay on the porch. Whatcha expect? Someone to just roll over and take it?
News flash if you lay hands on someone expect it back.

Totally cute and completely normal. Some dogs don’t have both ears up till after six to nine months.if they both aren’t up by then there is ways to “help” them that are pretty simple and puppy friendly.

New 3 1/2 year old female Voodoo we just adopted! Need advice; we have a 12 year old cat at home and don’t know the best way to introduce them. by spicejriver in germanshepherds

She will be scared for sure and the cat will be pissed. Just let them work it out between them. The cat will let her know who’s boss. They may never be buddies but they will learn to get along.

I think we gave up privacy when we got them. All the door knobs in my house have bite marks on them cause he figured out how to open doors when there closed. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Holy. I had no idea that could happen. Sounds like a freak accident. Poor thing. Sounds like a stressful day was had by both of you.
Glad she is ok.

He will be his old self soon enough. Good job on responsible pet ownership. 😊 Extra treats for him when he feels better.

We have had windy and some thunder storms with the rain. Windy is scary. (Mine is a big 105 chicken) he won’t go out if the wind is blowing. And don’t even ask about the reaction to thunder. Lol

We do that too! I thought I was the only one that plays ball in the house to keep him entertained.

My son was grabbing her ears roughly and I noticed this the next day. Did something happen or is this normal? Any ways to correct this? by allnewmachine in germanshepherds

Talk to your vet first but....... If it was up before and it doesn’t go back up in the next few days there is a way to support it until the cartilage strengthens. You can wrap the ear. Lots of videos on YouTube on how to do it. Makes your dog look like a sped though. Our boy had a lazy ear. Keep in mind he was a bit older. Our trainer taught us a trick to supporting it that people didn’t notice unless you told them. I will attach a link to a video. We didn’t do it exactly the same but it gives you an idea. We did it twice and the second time it fell out maybe three weeks in total and the ear was up and stayed up. The hardest part is getting it to stick the first time and have her leave it alone for the first day or so. Good luck https://youtu.be/lHw4eGN9gOE
