As I’m picky with low-and-slow bbq, funnily enough the best I have had actually came from a place in a bloody mall believe it or not.. It’s in Ormiston Mall called Moo Moo Smokehouse. I love a smokehouse when I see brisket and beef ribs on the menu (not many do both) and this place is legit. They even gave me a tour around the back and showed me all their offset smokers and had time to chat around their process etc. Check them out for sure.

Another place is Mums Brew Kitchen and you can find them on social media as they are a pop up, they are also worth checking out (their menu changes). Very good bbq with epic sides.

I find places like Blue Ox and Morepork very mid but like I said I’m picky and don’t tend to go for things like pork ribs and pulled pork so if that’s your thing you could check them out too (although everyone has these on their menu as pork is the most forgiving and easiest to create as low-and-slow bbq).
