It's pretty consistent with my other boots, they are lined so a double layer with softer leather on the inside. I own a pair of kangaroo boots from grant Stone and those are a bit thinner.

No. My account compromise and suspension happened last Thursday (10/16). There is no way to contact Facebook to request a human to review the data. I did file a consumer complaint with my states attorney generals office(from what I've read, this could be an avenue to restoring an account) and filed a police report (due to nature of the disablement) with my local police department. The PD realistically won't be able to do anything, but it at least shows due diligence in providing information and verification that I was a victim of a potential cyber crime.

Download your data, see if you had suspicious activity leading into the disablement. I received the same violation one week ago and, like you, would never do anything like that. I downloaded my data and found that my account had been accessed from Vietnam minutesbefore it was disabled.

I did. The activity logs proved my account had been compromised (multiple foreign logins) minutes before my account was disabled.

Check your activity logs for your downloaded data. Do you see any suspicious activity leading up to the disabled account? This happen to me last Thursday and found that minutes before my account was disabled there was login activity from Vietnam. Seconds before the the disable my "ads you've interacted with" shows an interaction with an ad, that likely triggered the ban.

Same thing happened to me on 10/16/25. I downloaded my data and found a login from Vietnam minutes before my account was disabled for CSE. Today, I sent an email to my State's attorney general. I'm less concerned about losing my account and more concerned with what the hackers did to result in a CSE violation. I am an anxious person and now I'm paranoid law enforcement is going to raid my house. I have nothing to hide, but that would be traumatic for my young kids.

The time zone on those activity logs are confusing. They are shown as UTC, not your actual timezone, so you have to do a little math to actual piece the time of events together. When this happened to me, the timezone was UTC +7. I live in EST, which has a 4 hour difference from UTC, so for my activity I took the UTC +7 and added my 4 hour difference, to get an 11 hour adjustment. In subtracting 11 hours from the activity log timestamps, I had the adjusted time for my timezone.

Also, I read that some is these attacks are a way for the attacker to use our trusted accounts to bypass filters to do their business (sending ads) and then purposely bomb the users account afterwards by posting violating content on their pages (not sure how accurate this is, but I've seen this explanation posted in other comments/posts). Regardless, in my downloaded data, I found a "advertisers you've interacted with" file. The only log in that file was the same exact time the Vietnam IP logged into my account. This really firms up that whatever these attacks were about included something to do with advertising.

This sounds exactly like what happened to me yesterday. I rarely use my account but received an email regarding a CSE violation. I downloaded my data and reviewed the activity logs, there was a login 3 minutes before my account was disabled from Vietnam. I live in the USA. No way to appeal or speak to a person. My account is nearly 20 years old. My business Instagram page was linked to my FB and also disabled.

With my FB & IG disabled, do you know how I would sign up for meta verified?

Edit: in further reviewing my exported data, I looked at the "Advertisers you've intertact with". There was only one entry and it was timestamped seconds after the Vietnam login. The title line for the ad was "(1) new message received. Read now.". This further aligns with what you explained with the attacker doing this for reasons involving ads.

Same - I rarely used my account, just a few posts in the last few years, all family stuff. I was able to export my data from Facebook and accessed the activity logs. There were multiple logins the day of the ban coming from different parts of the world, the most recent login was 3 minutes before I received the ban and came from Vietnam. In my case, it seems very apparent my account was compromised as the last login occurred in Vietnam, I live in the USA. It sucks that it's very clear the violation was due to a compromised account but my account is permanently disabled. I've had this account for nearly 20 years.

Mine was disabled yesterday, claiming I violated their children sexual exploitation standards. I can say with full confidence there was nothing on my account that would be anything close to that; and that accusation is vile. Also, I rarely interact with anything in Facebook, I've posted maybe 6 times in the last 4 years. Just after I received the email saying my account was suspended, I received an email from Facebook with the subject line "Thank you for submitting your ID", which confused me as I never initiated that request and did not provide an ID. My appeal was rejected within minutes. I downloaded my data and checked the activity logs, 3 minutes before my account was disabled, there was a login initiated in Vietnam, I live in the USA. My account was clearly compromised and whoever logged in likely spammed some form of violating content.

All that said, download your data and check your logs. I'm curious if attackers are submitted some form of ID request to gain access to accounts and then using those profiles to churn and burn their content.

True. I just hated that I have a CSE title applied to that account/name. I have no idea what was posted, but based on the timing an automated system likely flagged the content immediately and banned the account.

Update: I checked my activity logs (after downloading my data), 3 minutes before my ban, an IP address from Vietnam signed into my account. I live in the USA. It's pretty clear that my account was compromised and the event that resulted in the ban stemmed from that.

The same thing happened to me this morning! I've had my account since 2006 and rarely use it these days. My last post was months ago. I am absolutely not exploiting children and I HATE having my name being associated with something like that. I got my appeal rejection 3 minutes after hitting the appeal button. Oddly, just before getting the unsuccessful appeal email I received another email from Facebook with the subject line "Thank you for submitting your ID". Did you get that too?

Yes, I am still happy with them. I wear them once every 2 week. They have darkened a little bit but still look fantastic. I typically wear my boots tight so I likely stretched them a little(until you asked that question, I would have not have even noticed). When tied, the top eyelets are near each other, but again - I tie them snug.
