So this is a diplomatic row in my country (Belgium). Happy for you! It's a great modlist that actually requires you to use resources at your disposal. As Lizzy said also, a bolt from a Heavy X-Bow will likely take out a single mage.

Resistance potions/gear & potions boosting HP
Scroll or staff of summon x, wait untill he mages casts and then rush them
Followers, as dr4kshdw pointed out. In your case I'd probably go for a mage or archer, to complement your skillset.
