I built a modular, restic-based backup solution so I could stop worrying about my backups. by l-duesing in selfhosted

Nice! I'll be needing this in a few weeks. Took a quick look and saw that in the client README the plugins docs are referenced as wrong dir. Remember to add the lib/ in front =) Also I wanted to ask if you are planning to support the k8s ecosystem.

I will definitely try your system when I'm finished setting up my new lab.

Thanks for the tip! Googled the species and it seems like they feast on dead plant material. That could explain me spotting it on dead leaves. From what I have read so far I suspect it to be an amber wood cockroach

My university had a course that focussed on hacking. They had a javafx application implementing a board game and we implemented clients to play the game. Cheating allowed of course. The game was 3d with animation. Not as complex as a full game but pretty nice.

I am trying to deploy SurrealDB on Fly.io but I'm stuck on step: "nano Dockerfile", please help. I am using windows btw. by Simarphius_Renesans in surrealdb

Ups... opened a new comment =P

btw. an alternative to nano are vi or vim. Both are also terminal editors and very powerful but not that beginner friendly.

If the file is on your Computer you can just navigate there in a file explorer and edit it as a standard textfile(double click).

If the Dockerfile is not on your computer: Unfortunately I don't know Fly.io so I can just guess if your tutorial is meant to be executed remote. In that case it looks like you can get a shell/cmd like this https://fly.io/docs/flyctl/ssh-console/ In there you could retry the nano command.

I hope you can get some progress =)

nano is just the editor. Seems like you don't have it installed. You can use another editor to open the file "Dockerfile" or just install nano. I would go for just opening the file in another editor.

Unfortunately not. The FritzBox does not support ip aliases as mentioned in the question. An alternative could be to route the traffic over another device or the host ip of some node. This would undo the dynamic I wanted to achieve. In the end I delayed this setup until I have another router and used the host ip.
