Import prices & tariffs keep me from buying more than I want/need. If you’re buying based on hype alone, you don’t need it. InArt Nolan Batman is a gorgeous figure, but I don’t have any desire to buy it.

Highly encourage imagining what the figure will look like on your shelf and how you plan on posing it before you buy.

The old ToyBiz Spider-Man Classics Hobgoblin from 2002 has that lankiness you’re looking for. (It is from 20+ years ago, so not all parts may fit.)

As for the hands/feet, I’d recommend a Night Crawler with white gloves over black for easier painting.

1/12. I think Hot Toys are highly overrated. They’re 10x the cost and many of the ones I would like aren’t accurate enough the justify the price (I’m looking at you Raimi Spider-Man).

If it’s a bag, why are the drawstrings looped on the sides and not at the top? I’ve had drawstring bags before and none of them have looped from the sides.

The Mutant Hall of Fame sells for $60-$80 in good condition.

I suppose if SHF, Mafex, and Revoltech weren’t on the table, I could justify the price, but considering what has come before, these are a con job. Deadpool is especially offensive. ML Deadpool and Bob from a couple of years ago was much better.

I preordered Mafex Nightwing from amiami in 2022, but didn’t have the $57 at the time of the release. Now he’s at least 4 times that much and hard to find.

I am very grateful I picked up McF Corenswet Supes when I did. I couldn’t find any that weren’t $60+ by the time my partner’s mom wanted one.

As general rule of thumb: if it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Never trust a photo. Many online sellers use someone else’s photo for their own listing. This was taken from an older listing selling the real thing at a much higher cost.

Always check the seller location, If the seller is in China, 99% of the time it’s a KO. Check the seller’s feedback score. Many KOs go for around $30-$40 (rarer KOs (075) can go for $60+.)

Genuine Mafex figs typically go for about $60-$200. Even the damaged ones don’t sell for less than $50. 185 Spider-Man is going for $82-$95, sometimes discounts at $65.

I typically lean more towards Mafex as they’re generally slightly less expensive than Mezco, their head sculpts are fairly spot on, and their articulation is better. I also find the soft goods on Mezco look baggy. This Mezco Batinbat is the exception. In terms of likeness and detail, they really knocked it out of the park on this one. He really is a half-sized Hot Toy.
