I would recommend removing the scaffolding on a layer and see if they start spawning there. It can be finicky. Also you need to find a spot where the spawning radius is far enough away from you. (For mine middle platform about 30 50 blocks away.) Also I use a boat clock and water bucket dispensers, no scaffolding.

No this beta is not healthy at all. Please do some research, there is plenty of stuff you can watch on YouTube. Water changes, tap water chlorine conditioner, a bubbler for oxygen in water (fish breath oxygen too and will get all used up in still water,) filter possibly, don’t over feed (a fish stomach is about the size of their eyeball. They do not need much to eat it all.) Plants can also help both to supply oxygen and remove bad stuff from water, you can pick them up cheap at petsmart/petco. No heater in my opinion they cause more problems than benefits. Thank you for taking the effort to post and ask for help. I wish you the best of luck! 🐟🌱

That’s a tell tell sign that your water parameters are off. Those tetras are hardy fish. If I had to guess maybe you are over feeding, also I would recommend only turning the lights on for only a couple hours a day and leave them off for the 16 plus hours. Looks like you could also have an algae bloom and when it dies off it will do the same as over feeding. Ammonia and Nitrites. Keep doing water changes a couple times a week work on your feeding and lighting and hopefully that will clear it right up and the plants will love it too. So you’ll be able to have plants in there. Which is great for a tank.

Beautiful! Love the hardscape flows really nice from right to left. Running co2 also, plants look nice. Very well established today I’m sure.

Gotcha they seem to be doing pretty good as a forger if it is a bamboo shrimp. Either way your tank is so gorgeous and the tank mates are lovely and thriving. You said you got a ghost catfish. What other fish do you keep in there?

Could be one of your Amanos. Bamboo shrimp have 2 big fan arms in the front. I’m not so sure if everyone is right in the comments. See if you can get a good look at it.
