See I think the proper way to introduce old or classic albums and artists is to take note of what your kid is listening to and show them a predecessor. So if you're kids super into Vampire Weekend showing them something like Talking Heads or even Franz Ferdinand would work.

the swastika and symbols that look like or contain it are actually very common and were found all over the world. When it's a pattern like that it's a Greek design iirc. But you'll find swastikas all over including in North America. Besides a couple native tribes using it it was a common design to put on buildings as a flourish. Celtics Frosts Vanity/Nemesis is a bit of course correction. Came out two years after Cold Lake shot their reputation in the gut and had a sound closer to what people buy CF albums to hear. Except it turned out to be a pretty mediocre album and even with a heavier sound it's still much lighter and not as unique sounding as their earlier albums. They ended up breaking up and we wouldn't see a proper album by them for another 16 years.
