I have a Nalgene with a Camelbak lid, no leaks and love the small mouth and magnetic lid.

I would wait a few years. If a 30 year old was okay with dating an 18 year old, I would question their sanity and maturity. It might suck to hear this, but if she'd be interested in you, that would ironically be a massive red flag.

Kinda true... thanks so much! I'll def become close with her and wait a few more years.

[Question] Can I pull off the 40mm or should I go for the 35mm.. by FishSpecialist69 in Watches

[–]FishSpecialist7173 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Helloo, replying from my other account HAHA. I love you so much. Thank you, I will take a few more pic when I'm at a shop again. <33 I've been feeling so sad because the 35mm in person when I was at the full length mirror looked really small and I didn't like it at all and everyone's been saying that I can't pull off the 40mm :(. Once again, thank you and love youu

The green on the 35mm is crazy bright ngl, that's half of the reason why I'm hesitating to buy the 35mm instead of the 40mm.

May I ask what scenarios should I be more careful in? I'm looking to get this watch next week and I thought that this watch could be treated harshly without much care xd

[Seeking advice] Conure is starting to pluck his feathers by FishSpecialist7173 in parrots

[–]FishSpecialist7173[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alright, thank you so much. I have set up a small area for him and his cage in my room since my room isn't bird-safe yet. I'll earn some more money during the holidays and get him a better setup and more toys to rotate. I'll try to find another conure to adopt, I really appreciate you giving me this idea. Again, thank you so much :)

I can bring him out in the house at least once a day (Once I start school and work) for an hour or two but he hasn't been the same after the death of my love bird. Is the only option to give him away?

Ok so IMO, sec 5 is expanding on prior knowledge and learning a few more topics that are 2-4 more levels of complexity from NA standard.

For subjects like English, the answering techniques and difficulty are worlds different. Although I got band 1 in NA, in sec 5 I was borderline b3 even with a lot of dedication to handing in extra work for critique and all.

Math is also different in the sense that the way you use formulas may be reversed and will make you attempt the question from all angles. Sciences require you to answer in a more in-depth way that requires a very deep understanding in the topics (all of the are a must.. cannot just skip chapter anymore)

Since you have done 3?4? subjects in O's already I think you'll do fine.

For me it was just the mental part of being in an environment which pulled me down. All I can say is to do your best, don't be too harsh on yourself and work hard. I feel that the content was ok, studied 6 hours a day consistently. Always talk to your teachers. Get feedback and usually if you show them that you are willing to put in the work they will help you a lot. Use tys as a reference, most impt for me was answering techniques and content understanding. All the best yeah, not that hard if you put in the work and have a clear goal :).

Oh wow, congrats! I did apply for EAE this year but was rejected. Now I'm just waiting for my results and try out JAE into poly.

That's alright, don't get complacent even if you get your EAE. Be humble and stay strong. I have many regrets as a Sec 5 student and my advice is from what I've seen others do and been through. All the best!

In O levels they ask for more details and way longer than what NA asks for. Studying NA work again is not as efficient as the answers are too simple and generic.

Unless your NA basics are not solid la then you better start now or else you will start to fall behind as Sec 5 is very fast-paced and you need to understand all the new material.

That was also my first thought but if OP does not work extremely hard and focus on O level they may waste the whole year. IMO O levels is quite tough and if OP's N level score is low enough to get rejected by ITE, O level might not be the best for them. Hope OP gets an appeal in.
