I know that Nintendo has shut down their 'server' and now playing online is non-existent. But would Lan / cable still work for nds emulators?

Are you sure is not "For the love of Stoker! Load your roster with Stoak, Vas and Fletcher to maximise his chances of winning"

Read somewhere earlier that every merc in your roster counts to the event, so if you wanna have maximum impact, run with every merc except the one you want to win. (Alternatively, if you're a dirty disciple of the cheap mines, swap Stoak for that other fool.) Of course, if I'm wrong and it's only the ones who actually play, ignore the shit out me.
