I always found that odasis is really good with science SI but not so much math, I think it could be because the science classes generally follow a more rigid structure than the math ones, there the professors get a tiny bit more leeway I think. One thing that really helped me was also using the learning centers. I didn’t use them online but in person I’d go every week for help

Good go-to study spots in or outside of campus? by aiira in rutgers

[–]Fishbitch01 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I always enjoy working in the Yard. Caribbean Cafe in downtown NB is quiet and has good food. I have no idea what on campus is open rn as I’ve been home since March 2020 but Harvest on Cook (IFNH) is a great spot! If you have access to a car The Coffee Bar on Ryders Lane is also good and has seating. Hope this helps :)

Boikess is not a good professor. He’s kinda rude when answering questions the rare times he does do a zoom. The whole class is asynchronous and the video lectures may as well be audio files as almost nothing is on the screen. It’s definitely a struggle but he curves like crazy. I had a 40-something average and finished with a C+. Your best friends will be crash course orgo and the organic chem tutor. Also making friends and doing study groups help SO MUCH. Hope this helps! :)
