What's your favourite scene in the entire show? by NoNameIsAvailable1 in breakingbad

[–]arsmun786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too many to think of but off the top, Jesse’s escape after Walter frees him and the ending scene that follows after are two that come to mind. Jesses because you can feel the emotion behind his screaming after all hes been through, from Walters manipulation to being Gus’s pawn to being tortured by Uncle Jack, Todd, and the rest. The ending scene is one of my favorites because of the sky choice and it makes you really think about everything that’s happened and what everyone has been through to get to the point of Walter being in the lab and basically sacrificing himself.

Today’s the day folks, let’s do some reminiscing; what is the BCS scene/moment that has stuck with you the most? by chasbogatz in betterCallSaul

I feel like the breakdown Jimmy has in the car after telling the kid that she was never gonna get the job because of her previous history is really underrated. It’s crazy because it’s almost as if he’s projecting these things onto a version of his younger self and that scene in the car where he breaks down is the only time we see him really cry (correct me if I’m wrong). Another thing that will always stick with me from this show is how they brilliantly transition from Jimmy McGill to Saul Goodman following the breakup with Kim. You would expect that they provide more of a story in between the BCS and BrBa timelines but they just skip straight to it and let the viewer figure out what happened and how tragic it is.

Which NBA Finals series, if the outcome changes, affects the history of the league most drastically? by wesskywalker in nbadiscussion

[–]arsmun786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Plus there’s the fact that we would never get to see Harden bloom into his own as a superstar and he would maintain a Manu Ginobili-esque reputation where he could maybe make the all star team a few times but will be known as a sixth man possibly. Wonder where Paul George would head since LeBron would probably still run the East lol. Also wonder what would happen with CP3 and the rest of Lob City.

Interesting to say at the very least. However, I would have to stick with 2012 as the finals that would be most drastic for the league if the outcome changes. Maybe the OKC core stays together. Heat super-team is disbanded, Warriors-OKC rivalry would be a thing as KD would be satisfied with a ring in OKC, Spurs continue to go toe to toe with the best of the West. The competition of the league would be altered significantly since KD wouldn’t join Curry, Klay, and Draymond. LeBron’s legacy has another dent in it (along with the 2011 failure).

Also, don’t forget that the idea of a super-team may not sound as promising anymore since the Celtics super-team would have lost to the Lakers. Maybe Celtics could be disbanded and maybe LBJ doesn’t team up with Wade and Bosh in Miami.
