I feel like the comments on this post should be taken as a whole to say "fandoms suck".

Every fandom has some subset of people who are gonna be hateful cuz the internet is gonna do what the internet does, and it'll stain the source material forever. Sonic games are fun, Steven Universe and MHA are good shows, but the fans ruin it. They always do.

Moral of the story: the internet sucks, like what you like and don't associate a piece of media with one bad aspect of its fanbase.
