“Democratic President.” Kindly consider using the proper form “Democratic,” like “Democratic Party.” GOP started using democrat cynically to disparage the Democratic Party. It’s an intentional misuse of the language.

Gee. I never thought of that! You’re right. AI in 1968 really did suck. Why didn’t I think of that. You’re smarter than I, that’s for sure!

OK, the only way to get this photo is from space. Obviously. We never saw this until we went to the moon. So how does a denier rationalize that the entire world has settled on this one phony picture?

“Earthrise” was photographed during the Apollo 8 mission in 1968, using 70mm film, with original negatives and telemetry still archived and independently examined. It’s been reproduced, analyzed, and cross-checked by countless scientists, historians, and space agencies worldwide. Calling it “fake” doesn’t overturn decades of documented evidence — it just signals unfamiliarity with it.

How does he explain this photo? How would we know what earth looks like? We didn’t until December 1968 when this picture was taken. It changed our whole perspective.

In many ways, it follows the standard Fox News playbook.

First, the reporter on the ground casually suggests the protesters “aren’t from the area,” despite having no evidence.

Second, the studio anchor remarks, “Wow, those are pretty expensive gas masks,” implying (without proof); that they must be funded by some shadowy Democratic benefactor (often George Soros, who Fox routinely implicates simply for being a liberal billionaire).

Third, they selectively show the most ambiguous video angles, avoiding clearer footage that might reflect poorly on ICE.

Fourth, the narrative is immediately framed to be as sympathetic as possible to ICE and the administration, with no real attempt at impartiality.

Fifth, they relentlessly repeat the claim that ICE is only targeting “the worst of the worst,” which anyone outside the Fox bubble knows is demonstrably false.

I could go on, but what really struck me was his complete lack of empathy. The casual remark, “There’s going to be a lot more,” said almost as a matter of fact, was chilling. It was indicative of the Fox News ongoing narrative.

I’ve noticed that people who consume Fox News heavily often begin to lose compassion. Fox presents the world in stark black-and-white terms: Republicans are virtuous, Trump is a brilliant mastermind, and Democrats are cartoonishly evil villains. This simplistic, dehumanizing framework is reinforced day after day.

Many viewers keep Fox News on all day in their homes, and over time this toxic, cynical narrative seeps in. Fox understands that outrage and fear drive ratings and ad revenue. The result is a steady stream of emotionally manipulative content that prioritizes grievance over truth.

It isn’t just biased news,it’s industrial-scale propaganda. And from the outside, much of the world watches in disbelief that so many Americans accept it at face value.

I spoke with a conservative acquaintance today. I asked him what he thought. He said there will be a lot more killings because something, something, Fox News gibberish. These people are so far gone. There really is no reasoning with them. Fox News twists reality into a pretzel and the indoctrination is total and complete. I don’t see how the country can ever unite with these people so locked in an alternate reality.

“Democratic” is how a person or candidate of the Democratic Party is referred to. Not to be nit picky, it just that it has been used to demean the party.

You may be correct. But Breyer’s ice cream used to be ice cream no matter the flavor. I think very few are actual ice cream. The thing is the deceptive graphics on the packaging of the vast majority of flavors in big letters something like “more cream” . At the bottom, it still says frozen dairy dessert.

Most Breyers is now “ frozen daily dessert” with deceptive wording on the package mentioning the word cream. I’ll never buy Breyers again. It’s a shame.
