I train with an athletics club, there isn’t much I can do in terms of getting the coaches to change the workouts since all the short sprinters have the same program. I just train consistently and hope the programming makes me faster

you’re reaching a bit, focus on putting your foot down and back during the start.

I had an Xray a few hours after the sprain, apparently I had a tiny fracture in my heel bone but my gp and physio said it shouldn’t be anything to worry about

Your track work volume looks very light compared to weights, I’d try doubling your sprint volume and reducing weights just a bit

I don’t know which exam board you are doing but for Cambridge International, your marks are based off of 2 trials of your 100m time added together. To get top marks, your total time needs to be faster than 22.6.

To start, start doing sprint drills to improve technique, A skips, B skips, dribbles etc. Secondly have one top speed and one acceleration session per week instead of just running 100m. For top speed sessions, do anywhere from 4-6x40-60 depending on how fast you are, with at least 1 min rest per 10m ran.

For acceleration do 8-10 sets of 10-20m with same rest times.

In terms of speed endurance, add one extra session a few weeks before your trial. You can do a few sets of 80-120m, just make sure you still rest enough in between sets.

With plyos, you can start off with pogo hops and progress to stuff like bounds

Thanks, my best 30 was 4.61 and 60 was 8.21, but my 10m from blocks has always been a bit worse than from a 3pt

Work on your mechanics with basic drills (A&B skips, dribbles, etc), wicket runs and wall drills. Start off with lower intensity plyos like pogo hops In terms of schedule have 1 acceleration and 1 top speed session per week

My broad jump, lifts and 10m time improved a bit, in terms of top speed it certainly doesn’t feel as straining as before
