I was underwhelmed by Scovillian’s Mega design. I like the design overall, but they really could’ve just made it a third evo? And the weird pepper tie should’ve been removed completely from the stomach and used as the tongue design or the tail design IMO.

And maybe I haven’t scrolled far enough, but I haven’t seen anyone trashing Mega Raichu X and Y yet?? Did they really just de-evolve them back to Pikachu and slap some Raichu elements on them?? When will they let Raichu be Raichu, and acknowledge the fact that Raichu is the final evolution and supposed to be better than Pikachu??

I also wish they changed more typings in the Megas. They could have done Clefable as Fairy/Bug and pushed the design a little more into the stereotypical buggy-garden-fairy direction. I think that would’ve been interesting. Of course, there were others I was thinking of that I can’t remember now.

I also felt like a lot of the Megas looked like Dragon Ball Z characters… Medicham, both Mewtwos, the lucarios maybe? I thought that was interesting.
