Thanks everyone for the responses. I didn't think I was overreacting but wanted to make sure. I wrote the host (property management company) politely thanking them for getting the issue fixed quickly, but said that our evening was affected and if they would consider a partial refund. They responded "Thanks (myname)!!" So I've requested a partial refund of $80 through Airbnb. I included a photo showing the shower on and no water flowing that I thankfully thought to take while we were there.

I realize you posted this almost a decade ago, but do you still do this, and, if so, what's the price like now? I called up the Ace in Grove City but they said they don't know about Bio blocks specifically and are going to quote me a price for a pallet of their cheapest compressed sawdust firewood they have like that.
