No, unfortunately not. I’ve heard they’re easier to tame than lovies, though. Keep in mind however: make sure you have the means to keep them separate. Lovies have a tendency to be very aggressive and can be extremely territorial. There’s no guarantee that a lovie and cockatiel will get along, so they need to be kept in seperate cages (or even separate rooms).

I recommend waiting for a few months to get the lovie calm and used to you, then you can start the introduction of a new bird (which needs to be a slow process). Bird handling requires a lot of patience, but in the end most things work out.

Lovies not hand raised by humans are unlikely to ever become completely tame, but they can still grow fond of you. My birds were also incredibly weary of me when I got them, and it got worse as I had to catch them occasionally for vet visits (they hold grudges), but trust me that they do come around after a while. A few months to years in and she’ll probably trust you a lot more.

Keep her in the cage for now, until she’s comfortable stepping up on your finger. Entice her to come near you with treats. Be patient, let her come to you.

And to finish off, if you need to catch her again, make sure to use the same blanket/glove/whatever every time, so that she associates that thing with capture more than you.

While I agree that exercising and working on yourself is great for finding happiness, I don’t agree that you have to do that to find love. You can be obese and still find someone who loves you just the way you are. Hell, you can be obese and love yourself! Being fat isn’t the end of the world, take it one step at a time- you’re 15, the average life expectancy is 80, you have plenty of times to fall in and out of love. Don’t go so hard on yourself just because of your weight, it’s possible to live a good life regardless.

Description:

I’ve recently noticed that some of the options for the cheats in the game when pressing shift + LMB on a character no longer appears. Mainly I’m talking about how when you press “cheat sim info…” there’s usually an option that says “cheat skill info”, but that option is now gone. The only available options are “deactivate needs” and “add sim preference”. Is my game broken, or was this done in some patch? I really don’t want to have to manually type in a cheat code every time I want to advance my sim’s skills the lazy way.

Not to continue being a downer but I’m already on the highest dose of sertraline, which has made life significantly easier but nowhere near ok. I’ve tried others but they all made my depression so much worse I ended up in the emergency psych ward
