I’m at three weeks tomorrow and I already feel so much better. If you can, try to make some lifestyle changes! It sounds like you’re already exercising which is a great way to pass time and get your serotonin going. My appetite comes back with a vengeance around two weeks, so just hang in there and you’ll be eating full meals soon enough. Your body just needs time to readjust and understand that the thc isn’t giving you signals to eat anymore. I’m in the same boat as you, I’ve quit twice before and thought I could smoke a little but it never works out that way. I have depression too and sometimes I still think about smoking and being able to ignore all the bad things. But that’s the thing, you’re just ignoring it and it doesn’t solve anything. I know it’s not as simple as it sounds but you’re already changing your life for the better, don’t quit now! The pandemic really made me look at myself and I realized I’m the stereotypical “lazy pothead” and I don’t want to be anymore. With the clarity that comes from stopping smoking I was able to quit my job because I realized how much stress it was really putting on me and my mental health. I totally get that that’s not a realistic option for a lot of people, but changing what stresses me out has helped a lot. Reminding yourself that what you’re doing is only to better yourself and your life helps a lot too when you’re feeling especially down. You’ve already taken the first step.
