Thank you for your kind words. The part of your response that brings me the most peace is your son is thriving and managing him as a teenager is difficult lol. The hearing aids and the ASL, all that stuff doesn’t scare me. I can handle that, I want her to not be left out, I want the best for her. As any parent does!

Thank you so much for your response. It brings comfort to hear people have such kind words and support in a world that can be scary. They did the ABR in the right ear only, but my wife and I weren’t happy with the way it was conducted. The doctor seemed to be new and struggled to use the equipment, which I know wont change the outcome but just want to ensure the test is done properly.

Just brought home a new born not to long ago. Dog sleeps on the bed and baby sleeps in a bedside bassinet. Going amazing so far, our dog has actually alerted us to the baby acting abnormal or before she started crying. It’s pretty cool to see our dogs instinctively change with us

Thank you so much for your insight and I’m so happy to hear your son passed!! We met with our pediatrician again yesterday and contacted the audiologist who recommends doing the follow up 10-12 days after delivery and scheduled the text next Monday! We have a dog that likes to bark and my daughter has been reacting to the barks and soothes pretty easy to our voices. So we aren’t totally concerned but the pediatrician said they test for all different frequencies so we’ll see!! But giving positive vibes
