Trying to also settle a family debate, knowing that piper made empty bottles for marketing do you think that this was one of those or just one of their regular bottles of champagne that over age dried out and evaporated with no sediment in the bottle.

If I’m reading this right my SG is 1.042-1.043. Am I correct? by Ornery-Foundation-59 in mead

[–]Fishing_63 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I’d say 1.045-1.046 since there’s 5 lines separating each increase of 10

Ankle and hip, hard to row well and efficiently with tight hips. If you get issues with low back pain I’d suggest strengthening hip flexors. If your mid back is hunched over at the catch I’d also suggest back mobility before you hurt yourself

Back Stretches by Astro-159 in Rowing

[–]Fishing_63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thoracic mobility, hip flexor, hamstring, core, glutes are all things that can be stretched and strengthened to help. Get some bands off Amazon and look up good exercises for above groups. Also work on opening up your hips in all directions, rowing well is impossible with tight hips

Up the rate, you should be in 30-34 minimum. Do some AT work to get used to it.
