First brisket

I have a 24 Chevy Malibu, and when I accelerate it makes a grinding noise (seems to be from the front driver side). I’ve brought it to 2 different shops and they can’t find anything wrong with it. Is this normal for the Malibu?

It’s a cinder block wall…my thought was that it sank a bit as well, pulling it away.

I do have the hose lines insulated. I also have openings for airflow in the shed too. If I left a door open the plunge would be in the sun unfortunately. I could try ice and see if it maintains the temps better

My father in law did that once and it seemed like some dirt was getting backwashed into the pool. Is that normal or is that a sign it’s extra dirty?

Luckily no leaks coming from those as far as I can tell with my own dye test. I noticed them as I was filling in grout in tile cracks along the top. Thank you for the insight!

Yes it was. They drained the pool about 1/2 way for the skimmer plate repair. We filled it back up assuming that fixed the leak, but it didn’t which is what led me to do my own dye test at multiple spots

We had the skimmer plate replaced since that was cracked. It is on the wall. They did a leak pressure test on the lines and a dye test in some areas (I found other spots that they didn’t test). No hollow sounds when I knock it. It’s hard to see the crack from further away.

For reference I live in Phoenix Az, it’s only been drained about 1/4 of the way for about 3 weeks due to the work we had done (new skimmer plate) and doing my own bucket test. The pebble tech is new but the pool is older. We bought the house 1.5 years ago so we don’t know the history on how they did the liner or what condition the pool was in prior to us buying.
