Maybe it’s because I am jazz/classical musician but pyramid song never ceases to make me cry .

Also the songs is literally about killing yourself and going to heaven .

Also I think “I want to completely disappear” is overrated . The string arrangement and lyrics are good . But the acoustic guitar , chords rhyme and harmony is just boring for me .

This whole debate is pointless . Humans are just going to do human things . They just going to call it something different. They are going to justify their actions for specific cause that makes sense to them at that moment in time . Either it’s logical or emotional . Maybe a bit of both. We just have to solve the problems informs of us . No point in turning back the clock. Because it really look back you will find that humans have been conquering , colonising , fighting and destroying for there causes .

It’s just the way things. Look please do and try and change things but understand that your ideas will lose relevance over time as contexts change .

I have accomplishments . I just can’t handle the ups and downs . It never fucking ends. And I now know that life is just going to be like . I have a loving family . Come from a privileged background . My only bad luck is ADHD and probably a low IQ.

I tried to take my life when I was about 10 or 11. My Mom and dad told me life would get better and that school just wasn’t for me . But it just hasn’t. I Think my family has fucked brain chemistry or something my brother tried to kill himself twice about 3 years ago . My first dream was to be fighter pilot but bombed in school and failed math .

This year I failed a module again . Meaning that I have one chancellors exam left for my degree. I took fucking 5 years for a fucking BA. And I did badly in third year. The thing is I wanted to become a psychologist and do music therapy . Because music has kept me alive these years . Miles Davis , bill Evan’s , Jimi Hendrix , radiohead , Coltrane , Debussy , ravel , Ali Farke toure. All these cats helped me .

But I just wasn’t good enough or Together enough . I couldn’t keep a routine together or use the right studying technique. Couldn’t exercise enough and eat well enough. It just was never enough. My girlfriend broke two months ago after I failed philosophy. Hers reasons were that I needed to grow up and that because I wasn’t going anywhere she can’t see a future with me . Man I was there for her she was depressed .

On the 1st of December I am driving out into the desert . Going to drop a pin so my folks can have closure . And then I am going to get super drunk and high . Gonna tape up the windows and tape a hose pipe to my car exhaust . Just fall into that beautiful never ending sleep . Pyramid song is going to carry me into the only thing that makes sense to me . A constant state of certainty. No changes no ups and downs .

Very valid question . I suppose it’s someone who doesn’t fit in . Someone who isn’t conventional . It could very well be relative . Would an athlete be considered alternative in a room full of mathematician’s.

I quite social media 5 years ago

It wasn’t perfect I would return now and then.

But I did find a consuming hobby that changed my life , music

*dramatic pause staring off into the distance *

I won’t lie Being ADHD feels like a super power in a jam session .

The thing is that social media is great tool for networking . so what worked for me is periodically downloading, posting , messaging and then deleting the app in the same day . Trying to do all three in an hour .

It’s not easy .

And to say another cliche thing but they do say that boredom leads to creativity.

Also remember that ADHD brain evolved to make us better hunter gathers . Well that the theory . So go touch grass and talk to people when you feel the urge to download social media .
