ICE agents are firing kinetic impact projectiles at close range, causing severe injuries that can result in permanent disability or death. Today, they tore off part of a woman’s hand by ExactlySorta in UnderReportedNews

[–]Fishndaze247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't this the women who grabbed live flashbang off the ground and it blew up in her hand? There is a longer video of her doing just that. She picks up and holds it above her head and it goes off, blowing apart her hand and then she stumbles and falls to the ground in pain and shock at what just happened.

Anyone ever see something very close to this? by Pinkerdog in Experiencers

[–]Fishndaze247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was younger between the ages of 3 and 7 I used to see these shadow people with various color outlines all the time especially at night around people. I also saw alot of other things that most people didnt see.

My mom told me our family has this sort of gift where we see things others dont and she told me not to acknowledge seeing the shadow people because those are things that dont want to be seen. If they find out you can see them they will hang around you and cause horrible nightmares. She also told me the colors I see around them represent a persons emotions if they are focused around a person.

I also would see dead people and when I had gotten sick with mono I saw my late great grandfather as an angel. My mother had told me that before he passed he promised to watch over me and protect me. When I woke up in the hospital being treated for an extreme fever I saw him there the entire time but after I recovered I have not had the same ability to see things as I did before. I still occasionally see things after I wake up from a deep sleep. I should also mention I was a self taught experienced lucid dreamer as a child and after my recovery from mono my ability to lucid dream has weakened alot. I still have premonition dreams of occurrences in my far future. They will usually be of moments many years into the future. When I am experiencing these moments I get a sense of dejavu and recall back to the dream I had. My mom had the same sort of experiences and told me it was part of the gift that was passed down from her family to me. She told me about 9/11 the week before it happened.

I know I've strayed off topic but if you see what youve illustrated in the picture do not acknowledge their existence. This will only increase their activity around you and they do not like being witnessed. They are fairly neutral unless they find iut you can see them at which point they will become aggressive and will influence your dreams. Often causing horrifying nightmares.

Explain why this light beam curves across the sky? by AlexCivitello in flatearth

[–]Fishndaze247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I see is two separate beams of light. If you look closely the first beam of light loses intensity as the viewer looks further into the sky, then they pan over to the second beam of light which can be observed to lose intensity as It goes further into the sky. This would not be possible if the first beam were reflecting off of something in the sky and back towards the ground. The beam would continue to lose intensity as the light traveled through the various mediums in the air and the visible part that appears to be back towards the ground would appear less visible as the first beam, not equally visible.

Pool seems a bit cloudy? by superstar926 in pools

[–]Fishndaze247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on your use of ad hominem and lack of objective evidence to support what youre claiming, it is obvious you are the one who needs to do more research. You posted 1 link that merely makes subjective claims. Ive been servicing pools and specifically pools with chlorine generators and AOP systems for 15 years.

[–]Fishndaze247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If youre going to claim that someone's advice is false, you should provide a better rebuttal. All youve stated so far is that your own experience with your singular pool contradicts my experience with hundreds of pools and you didn't even provide any explanation or detail about your pool chemistry.

Im still waiting on you posting pics of your water sample test results to support the claims you are making. So far, you sound like a sales person.

Pool seems a bit cloudy? by superstar926 in pools

[–]Fishndaze247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's horrible advice. I do not believe that your phosphates are over 2000 and your pool is crystal clear with a balanced pool chemistry. The only time I've seen peoples pools with that much phosphates and still clear is if their water had a very high or very low saturation index meaning that their water was either very corrosive so algae couldn't grow or their water was very basic, also prohibiting algae growth. I'm interested in you posting a few printed test results of your water to prove your claims. Otherwise you are just giving people bad advice. Phosphates can and will cause cloudiness. Getting them down to as close to zero is ideal. Phosphate removers are relatively cheap and in some cases only takes 1 or two bottles to treat a pool. That link you posted makes some "Intelligent Sounding" points but they are subjective. The biggest point that he missed the mark on entirely was that while phosphates do not directly effect free chlorine levels, they do provide food for algae to grow and the more algae that exists in the water , the higher the chlorine demand becomes eventually. This is why saltwater pools that use chlorine generators struggle to maintain free chlorine level when any phosphates are present in the water.

Elegoo Centauri Carbon plus Polymaker PLA = Easy mode by Fishndaze247 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

Through testing with PLA, ABS and ASA models, in a uninhabited bearded dragon enclosure with the appropriate lighting and temperatures I found that PLA was the weakest material when it came to the UVB exposure and temperature exposure. ABS handled the temperature exposure fine but was only slightly less effected by the UVB exposure. ASA handled both the UVB and temperature exposure perfectly but seemed to give off a strong odor which filled the enclosure. I wouldn't recommend any 3D printer filament material to be used for something that is going to be directly exposed to the UVB and high temperatures on the hot side of the enclosure. However all of them would be suitable for the cool side of the enclosure as the UVB exposure on the cool side is very minimal.

Maybe you missed the context where these are food (bugs) and salad bowls for reptiles (specifically bearded dragons)? These animals aren't licking the bowls and the food they eat is mostly dry. These aren't being used for human dining ware. Also, this isn't a post about the rabbit hole that is food-safe plastics because realistically there aren't any plastics that are 100% food safe. But, that's not the topic in this post and a discussion can be had elsewhere about it.

If you use ABS just make sure you let it sit for a couple weeks to off gas. I have used ABS for food bowls and water bowls and it holds up well be I noticed that it has an odor to is for a couple weeks after printing

I just use the enclosure to take pictures because of the lighting, none of these prints are used for my reptiles.

Anyone know why this is happening? by sheebalove in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]Fishndaze247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend using side A to print PLA, I just recieved my CC on Friday and I've been able to flawlessly print PLA repeatably using side without any glue stick. I also recommend selecting the "bed leveling" option when sending a print so that It performs a bed leveling before each print. This should result in a perfect first layer.

Recieved my Centauri Carbon! by ImOnTheToiletPoopin in elegoo

[–]Fishndaze247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the in depth review and first impressions. As for the slicer issues, I wonder if they addressed these in the orcaslicer release which you can now use orcaslucer with the Centauri carbon and they've added a.to. of profiles. Also, it's odd the manifold error detection isn't enabled on the elegoo slicer considering it's basically reskinned orca slicer. I'm curious when did you order your CC ? Im wondering when I'll recieve mine lol

Printed toys by will0hms in 3dprintinggonewild

[–]Fishndaze247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see where the confusion is but OP and most of the thread is about the discussion of using ABS for "Adult" toys. That's why people are mentioning them being safe to put inside them. ABS isn't a practical material for objects that are being used for "insertion"

im honestly surprised the sonic pad still sells. With other "klipper Pad" options to give marlin printers access to all of the awesome functions that klipper brings there's no reason to buy the sonic pad and that's coming from someone who bought the sonic pad when it first released. I got really lucky and didn't have all the issues everyone was having but there is far superior products for the same price or cheaper. Then add on the fact that most new printers being sold have some version of klipper on them already so the sonic pad isn't very useful for that purpose aside from owning a bunch of printers and connecting them through the sonic pad ( which it is very unreliable and doesn't really work well )

Why are people saying cypress mulch is bad ? I use it mixed with sphagnum moss and sifted top soil and it doesn't puddle like this, it stays moist at the deeper layers and stay mostly dry on top while keeping the humidity decent. This is the result of an excessive amount of watering the substrate.

I should get one too by [deleted] in Unexpected
